She is very passionate by what she does. She really wants her students to understand the course. She is adorable, a little all over the place at times but for a Writing Intensive course, it is Extremely easy. I got an A without putting an extreme amount of work in. She gives little one page assignments each week that are so easy.

Maybe she was bad when a lot of these reviews were written in 2010 but I don't understand the hate she gets. Admittedly her class is boring but she really, truly cares about her students and has been nothing but helpful to me as long as I sought it out. It's rare to find someone who cares like she does, take her.

It is very easy to get Dr. Stewart off on a tangent! She has an attitude and a temper, and will lash out at students that annoy her. She is knowledgable, but not very helpful. She also takes forever to get things back to you. If I had a choice, I would stay away from her class.

she is unclear, forever changing the schedule, she gives you more or less busy work--be prepared to WRITE, and reflect on anything and everything---she saps the fun out of middle school class and art critiscm class

Very smart lady, a bit of a scatterbrain though. Will revise the syllabus about 50 times. Will easily get off on tangents and B.S. the entire class. A lot of group work. Not too bad of a class if you can stand her blabbing.
