SUPER MARIO!, he's a good guy deep down, but he isnt a very good teacher. If the course material was any harder i think i would have stressed more. All in all he is very clear as to what is one the test and quizzes, so no tricks. Just DO NOT ask questions in class. He sucks at those, but in office hours he's pretty cool.

I don't learn too much in class, but attendance is mandatory so you get all the notes. This is good b/c his lectures are going over problems exactly as they appear on the exam. He gives you a review packet before each quiz/exam containing exact exam problems, just with different numbers. He goes through these problems in class. Review these = A.

Picconi is one of the best Finance teachers I have had. Explanations are vey clear and study guides are given before each exam or quiz. Exams have similar questions to study guides. A tough class during the intersession. Very knowledgeable in the area of finance.

i took this class over inter session and thought it was very doable. I was reluctant to take it bc i heard it was very hard and the professor was mean, but i thought the material was explained well and the tests were very manageable. He gives a review sheet before every test and it looks JUST like the real test. id say take him!

Awful. He really does make you look stupid for asking questions, doesn't give partial credit, doesn't care if students learn or not. His lectures are boring, and you will have to go home and teach yourself everything on your own time.

Very bad teacher. Will make you look like an idiot if you ask a question and don't know the answer. There is no homework for the class, but the tests are really hard. I DO NOT recommend him to anyone.

Hmm...lets see. I don't think I've ever taken a class at USD that my professor made me feel stupid/idiotic for asking a question. He's extremely intelligent, but fails to realize there's a learning curve when it comes to the stock market-like riding a bike-you need to work out the kinks. I should've been a stock broker before taking the class.

Its not an easy class, but he basicly gives you the test in a review packet before every quiz and test (just with different numbers and names). If you can remember how to do the problems on the review sheet you'll get 100%. but if you have no idea what your doing, he'll literally give you no credit. Oh, and 75% is a B-, 60% a C-.

finance is hard. picconi is not mean. he is an old man that knows his stuff. homework is online (not timed!), and he lets u do each assignment up to 3 times until u get 100%. tests are the same problems he gives u in class. his writing is nearly illegible, so u HAVE to keep up in class. i went in hating finance, and now it is my concentration.

An okay class that can be a bit of a challenge at times but Dr. Picconi gives you plenty of review material to help understand what will be on the tests. Lecture can be hard to follow along in, as he sometimes goes pretty fast and what he writes on the board isn't always legible.

Knows his stuff. He seems hard, but if you just study its super easy. He gives you the exact problems for the tests and homework and just changes the quanities in the problem. If you practice the takehome work he gives you 3 times before the test youll get an A. definately smart cool guy. hee gave us 7 bucks for going to class once.

Prof. Picconi- Is a good teacher his lectures have a lot of info but he goes over the tests in class he gives you a sample and if you can do those problems an A it is. Overall a very straight forward teacher. Good teacher as well.

Very nice man...just a little out there at times. He knows the material inside and out. He tells you exactly what to study for quizzes and exams. If you study what he says you will do will. You almost never have to read the book. Just make an attempt to understand the material.
