This is a unique yet fun class in which you are able to talk to students from other universities around the world. There are A LOT of extra credit opportunities; if you receive enough credit, you do not have to take the final exam. Attend class, participate, and read all assignment instructions. This is a tedious, easy, and interesting course!!

Doesn't seem like she's interested in teaching and hard to get in touch with. Don't get on her bad side, that's for sure. Tends to pick favorites in class. It's very time consuming, don't take unless you happen to not be taking any other classes...

She is a fair grader, and you will do fine as long as you do all the work and understand that the extra credit is an incentive for you to do more research on the countries that are covered. Come to class on time and ready to participate in discussions, both in-class and video chat.

She taught us like we were grad students when we just needed the credit. It would have be interested if she didn't laugh at students and be rude all the time. Her test are hard and you have study guides but still not idea what would be on the test hardly at all. Would NOT take her again even if I got paid too.

Hardest class of my academic career. DO NOT take this class if you are looking to just skim by. No assigned homework, but if you don't read the text carefully, do the "extra credit" learning objectives, and study every night there is no possible way you will pass the tests. Go to class because she gives extra credit sometimes! And ASK FOR HELP!

I do not recommend her. She was a terrible professor. Did not relay matierial well or seem to care about the success of students in the course.

Dr. Eppler is a great and knowledgeable professor, and the content is interesting! She gives lots of opportunities for extra credit, but this is a time-consuming class. There are many assignments, 6 exams, and more that require time. She is also a tough grader, and the exams can be challenging. This is a worth-while class, but you have to work!

This class is a global understanding class and it is a great class if you want an extra elective. THis class is usually a morning class or a night class. Do not miss class and do the work that is assigned!

Wouldn't suggest this teacher. I believe she would be a fabulous graduate professor, but for undergraduate she is a bit ridiculous. She talks as though we should already know the information in her class, and she would rather use learning objectives to teach students than actually teaching. I don't doubt her intelligence, but I doubt her methods.

Dr Eppler is incredibly intelligent & knows her stuff. If you aren't ready to be in college, put in work & learn psychology then drop her class & change your major. Dr Epp goes above & beyond to help students w schoolworkadvisingcareer questionsetc. Take notes from her lecture, do not copy word for word the powerpoint. Her lectures are gold.

I studied for 36 hours STRAIGHT for one of her tests and still only got an 80. They are impossibly hard and have questions that have not been gone over and are not in the book. The way she does grades allows everyone to see everyone else's grades and only 3 out of about 50 people have overall A's in this class if that clarifies my point.

DO NOT TAKE. She gives way too many assignments and has about 7 or 8 tests throughout the semester. Its a lot of busy work and if you have other more important demanding classes, this isn't a good option. There are a lot of learning objectives and one or two homework assignments a week....

Dr. Eppler is nice, but VERY TOUGH. She has extremely high expectations for this class. She gives good opportunity to make extra points but you have to work hard to earn them. This class demands a LOT of time. Don't take unless you have to, it's not a joke class. just do w/e Dr. Eppler assigns you. She's helpful if you are willing to do the work.

Very happy and sweet and friendly. She's a joy to have a class with. The class was easy and she provided feedback. We had to link with schools in other countries and it didn't work out so well so we were very flexible and she was great through all the stress. You do have to do discussion and presentations almost everyday

Don't take her unless you want to spend ten hours filling out objectives every day (study guides for test), have multiple pop quizzes every week that you won't know any one the answers to, terrible powepoints and notes AND impossible tests. But it was all worth it because Dr. Eppler is smokin hot!

Ms. Eppler is very cheerful and smiles a lot. Her lectures aren't bad to sit through because she mixes things up with class activities and videos. Her extra credit is amazing. She is definitely the professor to take for this course.

I LOVE DR. EPPLER! She is extremely helpful! Her tests are based off of her powerpoints, but it is MANDATORY that you go to class. She gives out extra points which is a PLUS! But you have to volunteer your name on a notecard to answer questions in order for you to get the EC. She is willing to help you if you are willing to help yourself. I got a B

She is very nice and soft spoken. Tests are hard! She puts everyone's name on index cards and at the beginning of class always calls on people to answer questions which are extra credit. Homework assignments are pretty tough sometimes.

She was extremly easy and helpful if you had questions. Her attendance policy was more or less a pop quiz every class, but only if she drew your name from the index cards. There was plenty of oppporunity for extra credit as well.
