Comment:

She was very accommodating of students wants and needs. Was very clear on grading, objectives, and course requirements. Class was not overly challenging, but also not next level easy. Overall, would probably take again.

Would not recommend, speaks to students as if they are idiots when in fact he own knowledge is questionable, when looking in to her background she has no real experience within business that would give her the ability to teach the next generation of business minds. Do not buy the book/syllabus. EASY MANAGEMENT CLASS OVERALL.

Comment:

Dr. Kelly made this required business class super easy for me. The only thing I will say is that she a little too strict as far as being a rule follower (such as phones and food in class). Also she likes to talk to us like we are five years old that have no brains which was so excruciating to sit through.

Probably one of the most condescending professors I've ever come across. Does not treat students with respect but demands it in return. The exams are absolutely ridiculous, way too difficult. Each exam will cover 5 chapters but there will only be 25 multiple choice questions. Avoid taking her if possible.

Mandatory attendance, but never keeps you longer than 30 minutes. Didn't learn anything in class. Never returns grades or gives feedback on projects. Consistently messes up test questions. Avoid if possible.

Comment:

Dr. Kelly is very nice, but I didn't learn much if anything from her class. Class lasted 15-20 mins most days. She lectures off power points and assigns projects. Don't buy the book even though she insists that you must, it's a waste of money. Tests are 25 multiple choice questions. It's easy, but not helpful in preparing you for a job at all.

No need for textbook even though she tells you to buy it. Her powerpoints are more helpful than the book and she uploads them. Her exams are 25 multiple choice and nothing else is graded. Class ends usually 10-15 min in. Very nice lady and provides great examples in real world to help break down information

Don't take her. Just don't. She's smart, maybe, but a horrible teacher who is in the wrong profession. She gives you articles to read which clearly state "x" then claims she interpreted it as "y", so even though you got an A, you get a low B bc of her "interpretation" (aka she messed up the tests and wouldn't admit it). Dr. Kelly has a lot of quirks. Like... a lot. But, if you can get past those, the class isn't bad. Class is usually about 15 minutes long, so use that extra time to go over class materials on your own. Study the syllabus. She has a lot of insight and leads for internships.

Dr. Kelly is a pretty easy teacher because she explains the topics very well. She is not the best teacher, but she keeps her classes short. Her exams are from class slides and the book. She cancelled classes 2-3 times during a semester, and she is willing to work with you if you have to miss class.

this woman is THE WORST PROFESSOR at the duq... the only redeeming quality is that i got an A in the course, she knows nothing about marketing, and did not use a single piece of material that she made herself, not one powerpoint, nothing!!

Dr. Kelly is one of the nicest teachers at DU. She is readily willing to help you with anything. Anyone who doesn't like her doesn't know her. He class is a bit challenging, but thats why you take it as a senior. She is an excellent teacher, she just doesn't follow any precise notes. If you get confused just ask! You can definitely get an A.

I hate Dr. Kelly. She is the worst teacher at Duquesne. She is more concerned with making sure she gives you a tissue than actually teaching. Her tests are harder than they should be. Shes gives way too many group exercises and they aren't even for credit. I hated her class!

She shows devotion and passion for everything she does in class, she comes prepared and ready to teach. If you need help on the side she is readily available with an open heart and friendly advice. Recommended to all.

Dr. Kelly is a wonderful teacher. She treats you like an adualt and not a child. The class if very beneficial and she will help you with any problem, class related or not. If you go to class and dont act like an idiot you will learn alot and will do well. Thanks for lunch Dr.Kelly, your class was wonderful.

Had her for both Intro to Marketing and Product Management, and she is an awesome prof who cares about her students. You have to read the book, but if you ask her questions she will answer them in a helpful way
