Dr. Holzer was such an amazing professor, she will always be in my book of those who have shaped my life. Her class is pretty easy, as long as you put in an effort. She's very understanding as I got mono towards the end of the semester and missed almost two weeks but she helped me with everything and the class topics are very engaging.

Comment:

I loved Professor Holzer for Interpersonal Communication. I have major speech anxiety, yet by the end of the course I felt more comfortable giving speeches to the class. Dr. Holzer sets up the course so you can learn a lot about yourself with minimal work and speeches. Two speeches and small assignments make up your grade.

Comment:

Professor Holzer is such a sweetheart. She is so caring and will go lengths to make sure you get the grade you want. Attendance is not mandatory and she creates power points to help you review for the tests. There are one 2 speeches and she does not grade based on the actual presentation just the content. This class is an easy A !

Shes so nice and easy to talk to. She will explain everything thoroughly and let you know what will be on the test. We have readings but if you dont read and pay attention to her discussions in class youll do fine. The speech at the end of the semester is short, easy and you can use notes/ flash card. I definitely recommend her.

Ms. Holzer is extremely sweet. There are only 3 tests and 2 speeches. Her tests are extremely long but super easy and the speeches are graded by content not so much performance which really takes the pressure off. She will guide you through everything.

Super sweet and easy to talk to. You can make do w/o the book but, some questions for tests you can only find in the book. She gives plenty of time for assignments and gives clear grading criteria. She does offer extra credit!

Professor Holzer is amazing. She really keeps you engaged in class and is always willing to answer any questions. Not many assignments are given. As long as you pay attention in class it is easy to pass her test. I would definitley reccomend her, by far my favorite class.

Great teacher that really cares about the students. Such a sweet, genuine soul. Made a friend of mine switch his major because her class was so interesting to him. Model teacher and Valencia is lucky to have her.

If you have speech anxiety, this class is for you. She is amazing. She is so nice and caring. She will make you feel comfortable in class. She only makes us do 2 speeches and walks us through the whole thing. The class is so open and we can discuss so much. Plus, you learn a lot. She is very clear,don't talk very long. And you don't need the book.

Prof. Holzer is amazing. She is so nice and her class is extremely easy too. I took it as a hybrid course and we had very easy discussion posts due almost every Monday and then had class on Wednesdays. 2 tests and 2 projects/presentations. The class before the test, she will literally tell you everything that will be on it.

I took her class online Summer A(6weeks). She grades fairly and gives great feedback. We had to do 2 speeches one 4-6 mins and one 5-7 mins with an audience of minimum 5 adults, any less than that you will get 20% taken off grade. I enjoyed the class and would have her as a professor again if I could.

She is a great professor and you can tell that she loves what she does. She is very laid back, doesn't really talk for long. Text book is not used in class but, you'll be advised to do the reading at home for her test. I have her for summer B, I have 2 speeches, 2 test and 2 essays which is not a lot. She is also very helpful. Take her.

VERY organized, clear expectations. 3 speeches with 5 person audience required. I think out of the 8 online classes I have taken so far this is by far the most organized. Love the feedback given for every assignment. She really goes out of her way, great professor!

We didn't have any tests just 4 oral presentations. homework assignments are long but easy, she grades fast. easy class and she's very kind and helpful, easy to talk to. make sure whether you need speech 1608 or interpersonal comm 1017 for your degree before you register though
