I learned a lot from Dr. Barthelme's class. She really cares about her students. Her class was never boring, thats for sure! If you visit the writing center for your assignments, you are likely to make an A or a high B in the class.

Professor Barthelme was a great English professor. She lets you re-do papers you want a higher grade on and gives extra credit for going to the writing center multiple times. She highly encourages the writing center and will give you specific tutors she likes to help you on your papers. She is very witty, opionated, and crazy (in a good way).

As others have said, a little crazy. But aren't we all? She was always helpful and lenient with re-dos on papers when I wasn't happy with my grade. Great fun in class as well.

She's straight up crazy but she's a great teacher and will drastically improve your writing skills. She's tough but will always help you out and often lets you rewrite for a higher grade. Her class is work but it's worth it to have her. She also seems to like parties a lot. Especially if they involve glitter.

Dr. Barthelme is a great teacher!! She is upfront, nice, and fun (well, the most you can have in Comp 1). She assists in paper writing. She gives pop quizzes on the readings, but they aren't hard.

Great teacher. Doesn't talk B.S., gives honest advice about writing. Fun to listen to; is a bit flakey, but that's what makes her awesome. Grades fairly easy; Just turn in your stuff, watch out for quizzes on readings; in the end, she'll grade you easy.
