Very enthusiastic and engaging, which is a must for online classes (especially those held on Thursday nights). She is good at making the class interesting, and helping you connect to materials. She is also very clear in her expectations and grading. Pay attention to the rubrics & requirements! I've taken 5703 and 5411 with her, loved them both!

Excellent professor. Well designed class, but assignments are cumulative so it is important to pay attention. Class readings are somewhat dense/difficult, but are nicely summed up in lectures. Course focuses around two large assignments (midterm and final) so plan ahead for those. Considers student needs. Grading/expectations clear and fair.

Taking two classes with her. She is smart, but can go off topic a lot and can be hard to follow, but is really passionate about Library Science and very nice and will help you through to the end. You will be confused through half the semester, but she gives quick responses to questions and is a fair and generous grader If she see's you trying.

She is very energetic and talks fast but besides that, she is a great professor and super knowledgeable. There is a group assignment at the end but it isnt too difficult. There is a small assignment due every thursday for the individual project. KEEP UP WITH THOSE. You will then spend minimal time on your final project. Overall super easy class.

Okay this was kind of a strange class... I like her as a person, and overall it was a super easy class, but I didn't really get any information or skills from the class. It was required for me, and I definitely wouldn't take the class if I didn't have to.

I would HIGHLY suggest this class. She makes it meant to be an easy class but also teaches you a lot. No tests or quizzes, just assignments and projects. Have to go to class to turn in assignments. She tells you exactly what she wants and even gives you an example that she did. Don't slack on the group project. She's incredibly sweet and funny!

Kazmer is a great professor, but her projects are really confusing and quite strange. It was an easy class but a strange perspective on information that was slightly interesting but mostly just confusing. Overall, EASY.

Lectures could be done in 15 minutes instead of 50. She has too much energy for the morning, coffee to listen to her is required. Grading is weird with like 15 points per "test" or "essay". This class is basically learning about how to find valid researchsources. It's an easy GPA boost, but it's really dull.

She is very engaged, loves it when people ask questions. I have taken 5203 and 5703 with her and couldn't have asked for a better prof. VERY engaged in the LIS community and a real pioneer for online ed. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn.

A teacher who loves both the subject she teaches and genuinely loves teaching? I think I really hit the jackpot this semester with her! :D Her assignments are all focused on applying the theory learned in lectures and through readings and she's a very fun-loving woman who tends to ramble a lot in a good way. Definitely taking another class of hers.

Helpful, knowledgable, cares for her students. While class attendance is not mandatory, I recommend going. I got more out of the meetings than trying to navigate the dense readings. Great communication on expectations, easily accesible to contact, easy grader with great feedback. Only downfall was her kids interrupting class more often than not.

Very helpful. Gave tons of feedback, no surprises in grading or expectations. Not the best as far as relaying lecture material on subject matter, but she did sucessfully guide the student to self-teaching sources.

An excellent prof! She is very fair and structures class with students' needs in mind. Don't have to go to chat sessions. A lot of work, but it is work that is actually practical. A lot of information that you really WILL use - i work at a lib. now and this class has made my ref. work much much easier.
