She "corrected" my paper that was literally about my opinion and made it into her ideas. I don't share her Waldof ideals, don't correct full sentences and words into what you like. I meant to write "strict" not "firm." I respect that we have different ideas and if you were to grade it on grammar I would be okay, but she didn't, I really dislike her

Comment:

Husband and I took this class, at the time he worked 4 am- 7/8 pm. Wasn't getting days off, including weekends. The assignments were all spending time in schools, he COULD NOT take time off work and she didn't care, either do it or fail, so we dropped. I've had some horrible prof. understand work situations to assign other things for points.

Michelle is the sweetest professor. She made this class so interesting and I always looked forward to it. She is so lenient for students and helpful in any way possible. I would recommend her to anyone and hope to take another class of hers in the future!

I took her class as an elective I had little interest in and ended up loving the class and prof so much I came to take her a second time. She is so sweet, low-key, and intelligent/passionate about children! Her knowledge and experience really shows through. No quizzes/tests, take home midterm/final. Very helpful!

Michelle Miller turned a class I had no interest in prior to enrollment, into my favorite class every week. She was a great teacher who I really not only had a lot of fun with, but learned a lot from. I highly suggest taking her class!

I love Michelle! She's so easy it's unbelievable! No homework, only 7 tests and they're all take-home with the page reference of every answer! She has about 10 super easy in class activities so just be sure to show up to class! Instead of a final there is a fairly easy Child Action project. Definitely worth it!!! She is awesome!

Michelle is such an enthusiastic and funny teacher! She made those 3 hour classes go by so fast. There are no tests in this class! There are only about 6 or 7 EASY hw assignments that have no specific due dates, as long as you turn them in by the end of the semester of course. An INCREDIBLY easy A!!

This is the best teacher I have ever had. She makes learning itself enjoyable. She has so much passion for children and makes them her number 1 priority. Attendance is a huge part since there is a group activity each time. Took this over the summer, and there wasn't a mid-term or final! She lets you out early and she is wonderfully funny, too!

Comment:

Such a good person! Cares deeply about children. Teaching adults may just be a side point for her, but she does it well. Her lectures are so enthusiastic and funny, but sometimes she hits you with something profound and touching. If you want to experience a living example of the sort of people that SHOULD be working with children, take her class.

Lovely, kind person. I think she liked the subject more than she likes teaching adults, but goes out of her way to make the workload easier and let class out early. This was a very easy class over the summer and Michelle is highly recommended!

Michelle is fabulous. She's friendly, approachable, fun, and very knowledgeable. Her "lectures" are interesting and personal, and she is a great speaker and has hilarious stories to tell. Grade is based on participation in group work in class and some observations/short writing assignments out of class. Nothing too difficult!
