I liked him alot. He is a nice guy & was understanding to my class if anyone had issues going on personally. He was pretty good at explaining things. Bio 121 is such a hard & intense class. It takes A LOT of work no matter who your teacher is! I would recommend.

I thought he was pretty clear. Just write down exactly what he says and you will do fine. The course was insane though. Way too much material for one course.

I thought he was very hard. All we did was take notes..which he thinks his notes are awesome but they aren't very helpfull. He's not very clear and talked so fast you missed half of the notes. He isn't the kind of professor that puts them up on powerpoint to make everything easier..so you either write or listen..IT'S HORRIBLE!

quizzes are stndard for all 121 and they are loaded with trick questions disigned to make you second guess your answers. he didn't write them but almost all weight of grade is on these insane quizzes and not on practicals or essay tests. i felt clearer when i just read the material rather than his lame mechanical lectures. no homework though.

he never told us the rules about the practicles, causing many students to fail even though in theory they aced it. you take a lot of notes and he doesnt cover all the objectives. he isn't very clear about some things and like another person said, he isnt very understanding if you have problems.

You will take a TON of notes as opposed to the other profs., he will meet with you if you need help, but is not very understanding of students who have difficulty with the bio. departments insane rules about their tests. Try to get someone who will tell you all the rules you need to know.
