Professor Brooks is the best professor I've ever had. Period. It is very clear that he knows the concepts related to networking like the back of his hand. Be prepared to ask questions and work hard. He is often quite blunt, but also genuinely wants his students to succeed. He will not let you take shortcuts

You will get baptized in fire for several weeks but at the end of the class, you will master the concepts very well. The fact is simple read the chapters ahead of time (some chapters require multiple readings for you to understand), and ask him if you have questions. Practice Practice Practice otherwise you won't be able to do his Case Studies.

Brooks is dedicated to make you pass. After recording his class and watching the tape over several times, I learned more with each time.

You can easily see the genius in this man. His classes are very hard, but if you are taking his classes to get Cisco Certifications and you do well in his class, you will pass the cert exams. He's thorough for a reason. He doesn't make this hard for the sake of being hard. He truly tries to help everyone succeed.

Mr.Brooks is the BEST networking teacher you will ever have... period! No if's and's or but's, the man know his shizzle, so don't be a fizzle, go to the clas-izzle, and you make the grad-izzle. He really likes to help students, so don't be afraid to ask for help understanding. =-) Had him CCNA 1-4, CCNA Security, CCNA Voip, and CCNP.

My 3rd class w/Neil. Again the course was a challenge but not as much as the first two classes. I still recommend him to everyone who asks. He has LOTS of energy, is very thorough and will not leave anyone behind when it comes to understanding the course material. One thing though. SHOW UP TO CLASS AND TAKE NOTES. Otherwise expect a low grade.

I had this teacher for CISO III and IV. He knows his stuff. His workload is heavy but the ends very much justify the means. By the end of the class I had a confort level with the subject matter that I didn't have before the class started. I got my money's worth in this class.

Neil is a Type A Personality. He is a very hyper kinda guy. He is a tough and thorough professor. He is however quite intelligent, and uses every technique to get you through the class. Requires alot of attention to details, and be commited. He has been there a long time, and knows what he's doing, so you better know what you're doing!!
