I really can't say one thing that I learned from this class. Just a lot of handouts and useless topics talked about in class. The only writing is three papers so not much practice and her grading is inconsistent.

Comment:

Easy class compared to other expos classes. All of the essays are simple and if you do the work, it's hard to get below a 3.7 in the class. Glynn really cares about her job and will go out of her way to make sure you do well. Highly recommended.

Comment:

Glynn is an awesome lady who truly cares about writing and her students succeeding. That being said, this is not a class you can BS. She is one of the only people ever that checks your cites. It is not that she is anal or checks every cite all the time but she genuinely cares about your cites and wants to go find and read the whole article/book.

nicest lady i have ever met. i am awful at public speaking but she is so chill about it and i got A's on all on them. You get to just sit and talk all class. if i could take her every semester i would!!

Great teacher. Give 4 speeches throughout the semester, 2 of which are with a partner. Hates when you are late for class or absent. Have to take notes from the textbook which are graded kind of hard, but she tells you exactly what she wants in the notes and in the speeches so should be an easy 3.7-4.0

OMG THIS SHOULD BE AN EASY 4.0 CLASS EXCEPT IF YOU ARE EVER ABSENT OR LATE IT COUNTS TOWARDS YOUR GRADE AND THERE ARE POP QUIZZES. YOU'LL GET ALL A'S ON THE SPEECHES NO MATTER WHAT BUT CAN STILL END UP WITH A 3.0 OR 3.3 IN THE COURSE. BEWARE!!!!

This class is a super easy 3.7, since if you don't really prepare for hte speeches, that is about the grade you will receive on them. However, she's a stickler on attendance and her classes are SO BORING and a waste of time. Literally the equivalent of a middle school class. Take her if you want an easy 3.7 and don't care about how annoying she is

Alot of work if you take on Saturday and actually work on the assignments. It's really tough to listen to other students speeches each week when it's obvious they put no effort into it!! Quizzes are easy as long as you read the text, which is quick reading. I think it would be a breeze in a regular semester length.

I took the Sat. class and I thought it was wicked easy. As long as you read over the chapters, you'll do fine on the tests. And the speeches weren't that hard either. You just have to make it more than 10 mintues, which isn't that hard. She'll help you out. Easy 4.0

This women needs to be on medication. First, you don't know how you're doing in class. Then, you have tests on effective speaking that pretty much everyone fails. And finally, she gives her own speeches and asks you to do speeches that can be up to 20 min!!! Other Com210 Profs don't give quizes, you know your grade, and your longest speech is 7min

I HATE GLYNN! really nice lady and class is easy as long as she likes you. Glynn has no sense of humor and does not appreciate anyone who does. The only thing I hate more than glynn is her crazy, sears inspired outfits.
