Comment:

Dr. Krakow is an amazing professor and I am so glad that I had the chance to have her. She is always available during her office hours, but if you can't meet with her than she is usually flexible and can work around your schedule. Dr. Krakow explains everything clearly and carefully. She teaches in a way that makes hard material easy to understand

Comment:

Dr. Krakow is great and she makes Basic Speech as straightforward as possible. The class is comprised of 3 mandatory exams and one optional exam, all of which are multiple choice. She really wants students to do well and doesn't mind explaining things over and over until you understand. Also, she lets you get any edition of the book, (mine was $6).

krawkow is great! we can buy any version of the book, but i never used it bc her lectures were very thorough. 90% of the exams were based on powerpoints, she even provides study guides that lists every topic the exam will cover. exams are multiple choice. attendance is not mandatory. she wrote me an amazing letter of rec for grad school. take her!

Prof. Krakow is intelligent and clear, very knowledgeable and kind. Her exams require a thorough but reasonable knowledge of the material, and are clear and fair. She is a good lecturer, patient with questions, and presents ideas clearly and in enough detail for students to really understand the material. Excellent teacher and a nice person.

Krakow was helpful with labs when your data was way off,she allowed you to bluff it just so you understood how it was done so that was awesome. I had her as a advisor. Her advising abilities are useless but her casual conversations are promising.She wrote me a TERRIBLE recommendation letter- cost me admittance. Dont ask her to write you anything!

Dr. Krakow is the best teacher in the world! Sometimes she even brings in her very cute kids! She explains things so so so so so so so so well! DR.KRAKOW IS THE BEST! You should so have her! Go Dr. Krakow I think if you would like to learn speech science you should ask for her! If you can't then beg!!!

I got a B in the class and i worked my TAIL off for it. Study at LEAST a week in advance for the tests. Theres a ton of material to learn. Dont miss any classes or u will be lost. She explains everything very well - but is not really huge on powerpoint for the first 2 tests. The only notes you will have will be from what you write from the lectures

the material is hard. You have to stay ontop of the material(study every night; review your notes). Rena explains it thoroughly and clearly. She is fabulous and her exams are fair. the success in the class depends on how much a student wants to study.
