I took the class with these other guys. It's pretty clear why they got the grades they did. They never came to class, never spoke, never did anything to get a better grade. If they did the work, they'd do better in class. More sour grapes.

Make sure she likes you. Grades are given on whether or not you agree with her moral values. Although revising for papers is done in class, and she will help you, what she tells you to do still isn't good enough on the final draft. Hated going to her class everyday.

That other guy was right about sour grapes. You write a draft paper, fix what she tells you to fix, and talk to her. She gives you ALL THE QUESTIONS for midterm and final, and even does study sessions outside class. She'll practically write your answers for you. Since I had her, history makes sense to me, and my grades are better.

She's a lot of fun, but tries to weed out the dead weight early in the semester. The people who hated her dropped early or didn't study. I took two classes from her, because she's just the best. Go to her office hours, and you'll be fine. If a Western Civ I class ruined your honors status, you didn't deserve it.

I don't think this teacher realizes she's teaching a gen-ed. Extremely difficult grading, she ruined my gpa, causing me to drop from honors. I studied more for this class than the other four I was taking combined.

Very interesting to listen to with a lot of random facts that help you really comprehend the time period. A little pretentious but that seems to come with the territory because she really knows what she?s talking about. Hard grader but will be really helpful on the final paper if you go see her.

Great teacher - probably one of the best I've had in college. Renee knows her sh*t, and is very helpful. There may be a lot of reading for the class which can be hard, but she is excellent at claryfying it and emphasizing the big ideas you need to know.
