Great professor! Nice guy, really smart. Attendance is mandatory but if you go to class it's easy to get an "A". Watch out for the big paper you have to write (12 pages). He rambles a little but he always brings it back to the topic. Great teacher!

I took 2 of his classes (Philo & World). He sparked my interest in history. His encouragement, support and engaging discourse in the classroom not only caused me to change my major to History, but to become a History teacher myself. I encourage all to take his course. He will challenge you to think outside the box. Thanx Prof! Andrea 1998-2001

I liked the guy. Yes, he was quite boring. Yes, he tended to ramble on about insignificant things. But I learned a lot and I liked him. His tests are actually quite hard, but as long as you take decent notes you'll have an A. He curves up tests nicely.

Very boring class but he gives you a good idea what will be on the test. Watch out for the LONG paper you have to write, but he grades it pretty easily and even nominates you for awards.

Really nice guy, always there if you need help from him, but, his grading policies are a bit unfair at times, and he exempted people from the final who had gone over the given amount of absences.
