Good teacher but does go through concepts rather quickly. He is always happy to answer questions but you just have to be concise about what you're trying to ask him or be prepared to feel his wrath.

Comment:

He is a really nice teacher who is always willing to help his students in every way he could. He knows his stuff. I always felt inspired by his mental math work. I was never good with physics, but he made me love this subject.

This guy is smart, but as a person he's not my favorite person. Pray you're the type of student (he's ideal student really weighs more on appearence rather than skill), if he likes you, you're good, and if not, pray you can avoid being burned by him.

The best advice I can give you is to get your hands on some old exams and solutions manual for h.w. At first I read the book and tried understanding what the book is trying to say b/c you know his lectures are way out there, but then I said Fu#@ it started concentrating on the math.

Dr. Fizell ranks as one of the best teachers I have ever had. The class is challenging, but Dr. Fizell is extremely helpful. I had Dr. Fizell last semester and he is very consistent and clear when he lectures and gives assignments. I got a C but it was due to my circumstances, not his teaching. He is really great, but be prepared to work hard.

Quite possibly the strangest teacher at Delta. I think hes a genius though, and should be teaching at a University. Just make sure you do the homework. Oh and he will put you ON BLAST if you disrupt lecture, always fun to watch. I can imagine its not fun for the victim.

hes very easy 2 understand, totally helpful but above all u have to take an interest in listening 2 him & the class. This aint a speech class where its a guaranteed A, u have 2 do the work. Anybody who says hes hard 2 follow is a dumb bloke !!! The names Gregory :D

Dr. Fizell is a really great teacher. He will help you out and is available anytime. He will help a student out if he sees the student is trying. His lectures are clear. Class is challenging so take copious amount of notes and read the textbook. Dr. Fizell is very approachable. He is the best science teacher ever!

Find somebody with the solotion manual for ALL of the HW problems and save it to your flash drive, it's a life saver, and study from the old exams in the lab manual and anybody who has older versions of exams. That alone should get you at least a B

He talks way too fast that you can not follow. Buy a calculator and help him solve the problem (he always estimates the answer without calculator. He is really good at it). In front of the solution book there are formulars that you need to copy down to your cheat sheet (as well as whatever formulars he puts on the board). You'll be FINE that way.

Very smart teacher but hard to follow him in his lectures.. copy everything he puts on the board and put all your effort into homework and studying. I suggest taking a couple easy classes with this one so you have time for it.

He sometimes yells during his lecture "Don't do that!". Don't be scared! He just wants you to pay more attention on it. Sometimes, he speaks so fast that you can not catch up with anything. Therefore, if you don't read books or do homework EVERY CHAPTER, you will get lost, and seriously you will understand NOTHING! It's NOT easy to get an "A"......

Dr. Fizell is an excellent teacher. He goes over the lecture and lab material very well. Because of him, I have better developed my problem solving skills that are being put to use at UC Berkeley. If you show him that you care, then he will care. He's a cool teacher with a great sense of humor, and is enthusiastic about what he teaches.

A very intelligent teacher and know what he's teaching. Sometimes you might get lost with his lecture, but you'll understand him better if you just have to read the lecture ahead and practice doing problems. Tests and quizzes are fair and straight forward.
