You really need to read the book for this class, mandatory attendance because what he talks about in class will be on the quiz and test and he will always give pop quizzes he more than likely will not give you a heads up. And you will have 3 journal entries and he will grade very hard.

This class wouldve been easier if I understood history. He doesnt have PowerPoint notes, he mostly just talks and you have to write what you think is important. Hes not a bad teacher. Although there are pop quizzes

Knows his stuff but is full of himself. Spends more time trying to see how far he can push you rather than helping the student learn. Sent him an email once asking for help and received a snarky, rude comment and has done it previously with other students in the classroom. If you're up for a challenge and love history then he is for you.

As a freshman when I took him, he really showed me what it took to be a successful college student and I'm a junior now and honestly haven't encountered a more work intensive class. Midway through the semester I had a 50 and he sent me an email suggesting that I drop his class, I was baptized right there and never worked harder and got the A!

What can I say about the man that hasn't already been said. Dr. Tuller is a wonderful professor. He is a tough grader but that is to be expected, as this class is designed to prepare you for the ones to come. Lots of cooperative learning takes place in class. Dr. Tuller allows for lots of feedback and redo's on assignments.

Gave a total of four essays, six pop quizzes, and two tests: a midterm and final. Also assigned five books that all total like $100 so, don't take him if you're broke. It's an easy A if you show up and pay attention, and know how to write an essay.

"I hope to get a class one day where half the class doesn't fail the midterm." -Roger Tuller. Grades are from 6 UNANNOUNCED multiple choice quizzes, 2 midterms, and a final exam. 2 books, $55 and $10. Class starts and he doesn't stop talking about history until class ends. He likes to brag that he grades his essays like they do in Harvard.

He will cross his arms and lecture to the end of the class, loves giving pop-quizzes on Fridays, and loves having essays on his exams. Overall, the class is actually really entertaining and makes it interesting to the point where you won't get distracted at all. You will really learn in his class, great professor with a little humor occasionally.

Great professor, his lectures are most of the content for his quizzes and test although you have to read to get about %20-%30 of his quizzes and test.

He is a very good speaker, keeps it interesting. If you want to pass the quizzes you have to pay attention in class because they're mainly on his lectures. If you want to pass his exams you have to read the book and study lecture notes. Other than that he was my favorite teacher this semester.
