3 grades in the term. only test. each one harder than the previous one. He doesn´t help with any extracredit assignment. Never take him again.

He doesn't really post anything online, so you want to go to class because he will write all of your notes on a whiteboard. Set Theory is not my strong suit, but he probably teaches it the best. If you have to take the class, just take it with him. He is very nice and humble and wants you to really learn about math. He doesn't ever post grades.

This class was tough, matrix theory is definitely not my strong point. The professor was willing to extend homework deadlines whenever he was asked to.

He is a good professor. He does take the whole class period during lectures, but he does explain the math clear enough for you to get a good understanding. He gives plenty of examples, and will assist you when you do not understand something. Calculus is a class that you need to study regardless of who teaching it. His tests are only 7 questions.

He doesn't care about algebra mistakes at all, he only cares that you can do the calculus. He teaches through examples- his lectures are mainly just working through problems the entire class. Quizzes every week, but he always tells you what's on them, and homework is optional; I never even had to study outside of class. Don't buy the textbook!

Dr. Hemasinha is one of my favorite teachers at UWF for math. A lot of people complain about clarity, but I can understand everything he says. Math is a universal language. His homework is optional and he is very systematic with how he introduces concepts. I rarely had to study outside of class because of his mastery at the white board. Take him!

Will never take again, he can't teach. You will leave the subject with no knowledge of it. Do not take him.

I don't know how he has such good reviews. In my class 10 of us ended up having to meet afterwards in order to decipher what he had just taught us. You will learn more by reading the book outside of class than you will learn in his class. You will get a quiz every week, in my class 8 out of 10 quizzes the entire class got a D or lower.

A little easier than some other upper level math professors (which is not always a good thing), but a very great professor and friendly guy!

I had this professor for Calc I, Calc III, and Set Theory. I enjoyed every class I took with him. Gives good examples in class, and if you have questions, he is extremely approachable. Do the homework, pay attention, and ask questions. If you do these things, you should do well!

Great teacher even though the class is definitely not an easy A. Unlike Bushway, you have to memorize every single formula but at least he goes easy with the final. Does not curve for Trig and homework is completely optional (but it's still a good idea to do it).

He's a nice guy. I was in the honors section: there is very little difference between the two. Don't buy the book. you don't need it. His tests are hard, but he curves everything. Study his quizzes, they are just like the tests. He is very timid, so give him a chance. He will study with you if you need it. Very good teacher. Give him a try.

Professor Hemasinha is probably the best math teacher available at UWF. If you have the chance to take him, I highly recommend it. He can explain things to you better than anyone else and has a great personality.

Dr. Hemasinha is FANTASTIC. He is so clear and methodical with his teaching that you don't realize the class is hard because he makes it so easy. I wish I could take all of my math classes with him. A+ for Hemasinha.

No textbook. He made us buy a sketchpad program that we used only a few times for our homework. He was very picky on grading! Marked points off for everything little thing (homework and tests). No quizzes.

Nice guy. As long as you write down everything on the board and study it all, you will do fine. You have a quiz every week and an exam once a month. Exam is just like the practice exam he provides you. He comes to class prepared and willingness to help so please be in class and on time for him. Homework is optional.

Nice guy. Calc III was definitely easier than Calc II. As long as you write down everything on the board and study it all, you will do fine. You have a quiz every week and an exam once a month. I love math, but I really did not enjoy this class. I could not understand a word he said, but I could read the board well enough to take notes. He gives notice of quizzes and test, and I would say definitely study for them. The book work isn̢۪t required, but it helps a little. I only did it for the first few and I got a B in the class.
