He is an amazing professor. I took his 33A and B, and I received both A. To be honest, his class is not that easy because you will learn a lot of valuable things. It is true that he gives lots of homework. However, it prepares you for Eng 1A or higher level. One thing I didn't like about his class was his late feedback.

Russell Frank is really tough. In his class, you will learn a lot at the same time put a lot of efforts too. There is tons of homework and things you need to read. Honestly, No lazy people can survive in this class. You have to be tough and be prepare to all the homework. But still, he is helpful and his lecture is useful.

Russell Frank is a good teacher. He would tell u anything he knows, although you would feel a little bit hard at the beginning of the semester. Put efforts to this class and it will pay off in midterm, and the second part is Research Paper, in this part you should make up lot informations. Professor Frank will instruct you step by step...

I took his class in winter term and got an A. If you take his class, you will have a lot of homework or endless homework. But, you will learn a lot. Trust me, if you study hard and do whatever he asks you to do, you will have a good grade. I transferred to UCLA and graduated with 3.9GPA. If you can survive his class, you will succeed in university

Prof. Frank's classes might not be easy and can be considered hard, but either way i'm still taking his class. He's a fair grader and helpful. His homework may be a lot and sometimes you may have a tough time finishing it. But trust me, if you do your part as a student and listen to what he says, you can get C or better.

got a B in his class in summer?His lecture is OK.but he is an IRRESPONSIBLE professor.we wrote 5 essays in class,Dr.Frank just graded the first one.His course progress is too slow even could not keep up his class schedule website.so he NEVER gave the opportunity to rewrite.Many works on canvas have not been rated.He focus on another work for money.

He is really helpful and nice to students. You should take his class if you really want to improve your English skills. He is the greatest professor I have ever met. He is helpful and know how you think. It is a great thing to stay in his class because he will teach you lots of things not only writing but also American culture. He is a homework nut. I got C in this semester. Is this mean I'm not a hot girl?? haha~ Everyone has different opinion. I chose Dr. Frank's class because my friend who failed in his class insisted that he is the best. Well.. I agree. He was the one of best at least among the teachers I've taken in PCC so far.

He is nice and helpful.. he explains everything clearly, BUT his homework is way too much..i think it's twice more than other 33b classes...i can't imagine how ppl will survive during short term with such lot of work... also he's lazy to grade the exam and assignmnts..even the midterm grade will come out like almost the end of the smester...
