Serrat is like almost any high school history teacher I've ever had. 90% of the tests are from the lecture, so, if you can get it, I would still recommend getting the book. You won't use it often, but it's nice to have. I just rented an online one and it was fine.

Comment:

VERY EASY! He gives 4 tests (including the exam) and he drops your lowest grade. He takes attendance and if you are never absent then he bumps your grade up half a letter. He takes doctors excuses when you are sick so it does not count against you. Just go to class since his slides that he uses during his lecture are what the tests are over.

I took Seratt for 1301 and I loved him so much that I took him again for 1302. He's an amazing teacher and is extremely knowledgeable. He loves answering questions! He does have a tendency to get a little off topic every once in a while, but it's good for a good laugh. GREAT PROFESSOR!

I'd say take his class, he is very easy, the only thing is you dont need your book, just write down everything from his power points every class. I never studied and still got a B. He gives bonuses and make sure you go to class bc sometimes he gives bonuses as a pop quiz.

Mr Seratt is an outstanding teacher. He uses powerpoint and puts in videos from youtube during his lectures. From time to time he gets off topic and tells stories but it helps to put things in perspective. Every test has a bonus essay question which as long as you put thought into it you will get the 10 points. Not an easy A but not hard either.

PROF. SERATT HAS TO BE THE BEST TEACHER EVER! I LOVED HIS CLASS SO MUCH CUZ HE MADE IT SOOOOOOO EASY TO PASS HIS CLASS AND HE GAVE US SOO MANY EXTRA CREDIT ACTIVITIES TO BOOST OUR GRADES..
