No help at all for research. had to read a book and do a literature circle about it every week. everyone was so frustrated and had no idea how to complete their research. she talks WAY over your head and uses words i've never even heard of. For Lit and Literacy: She's not so bad, she's a little odd. The work we have to do seems like busy work to me. But, if you do it you'll probably get a good grade. Really helped me to question practices in the classroom and to challenge my students which I think is a greater benefit than anything that could've been taught from a book.

I really enjoyed Dr. Solloway's class. She was very understanding and personable. She got to know everyone's names in our class and always said hi to me in the halls. We did an individual research project and a class research project and presented to a school board, but it wasn't bad at all. Good class!
