i am not a science person at all but professor Faranga truly is a great professor. He was very clear with all of his material and what he wants from you. As long as you do the work on time and show him that you are trying you will do fine. This is college people, you gotta do work, and study! Take him you will be happy you did!

Seems nice first -Horrible- Says one thing will be on an exam & puts everything but that on it. Also has 2 MANDATORY trips that you must take on your own to the museum of natural history and the bronx zoo with a write up about both. The trips are 40% of the grade w/o them you will fail and he doesn't care how much $$ it will cost. No extra credit.

Dr. Farenga is AWESOME!!!!! One of the BEST professors I had ever taken! He is very hard and demands a lot from his students but I embrace the challenge!! I loved the first class I took with him so much that I took two additional classes he taught! I learned a lot from him and have been employed as a teacher for the past 5 years!

He really gets off on telling students they're not good at something. There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism but from day 1 you will see he comes in on his high horse. His syllabus is a mess so make sure you're organized and know what is required. It's a lot of work to say the least but just make sure you're always prepared.

Very intelligent and a good teacher. The work is hard, but the re****s are worth it. This is truely a class where "grades" "don't matter", I believe we should focus on teaching and learning, rather than grades. You'll learn a lot, and that is what we are here for, learning to become the best teachers. And he is a fair grader. 2nd best at dowling
