Easy A class. There are 4 computer projects that do not give much description, and he grades them tough. The class is very organized and easy to follow. A quiz, vocab, and 2 other small assignments are due every week.

Comment:

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. You have to buy an access code for MyMathLab that was kind of expensive but you have four assignments due every week on there that take a total of about 40 minutes (that you can retake until you get 100%) There are four excel assignments due throughout the semester.

I really enjoyed this online class, the assignments were really easy and straight forward. We had 4 spreadsheets assignments and if you turn it in two days before they were due, he would give you any feedback if any corrections was necessary. Professor Mrdalj was very helpful and emailed me back pretty quickly too. I would take him again.

Comment:

I can't speak for the in person version of this class but the online class was very easy. The requirements are straight forward he was an easy grader and I never had a problem. You do have to buy the book with the online access code in order to do the assignments but so long as you can use Google you should not fail this class.

It might seem that he will make fun of you if you ask a question, but he doesn't. You have to keep up with him and really want to learn in order to do good. Be prepared before class and let him know immediately should any problems arise in the lab

The class is entirely off the text book which is a lot harder than it sounds. I generally do not do bad on tests or quizzes but have not managed to get a single A on a quiz. The question seem as if they are fine print from the reading. The professor responds fine and is not actually bad, but the class is horrible online.

strength: knowledgeable, cares to explain, interactive teaching. weakness: extremely time consuming, being a group project your grade will also be affected by work of teammates, very strict with grades. Most students do not get the explanation and are afraid to ask. Advice: Keep a whole semester for this course.

The teacher does not explain how to do the projects well. He talks about them once then expects you to pull t all the answers from your ass. He is so disrespectful and rude. By far my least favorite teacher that I have ever had. Truly an awful experience.

Had this guy for two classes, including this one. He's kind of tough, but he means well. Just don't ever try to get on his bad side. The good thing is that you can understand what he's saying.

The work was very heavy and time consuming.He did not seem to realize that we have other classes and life outside of his class. The project was all consuming just to keep up with weekly deadlines.He certainly knows systems,but getting students to understand the mat'l is a problem.He is helpful if you ask Q's. He'll meet outside of class to help you

Being a teacher does not only mean knowing the subject. More importantly, one should engage with students, be patient and as helpful as possible. Stevan Mrdalj does not treat his students well. He quite often ridicules the students if he finds the question not directly related to the subject. He needs to learn how to be a decent human being first.

Had Dr. M for a few classes. The good: Knows his stuff, you'll learn a lot if you put the effort in. The bad: His way or the highway, and he has high expectations. It's amusing to watch students test him in the beginning of the semester, he won't put up with b.s. Those who figure that out find him tough but fair, those who don't usually hate him.

Best teacher I have ever had. Knows his stuff and wants you to learn. He's a hardass on the outside but if you get to know him he really cares for his students and wants you to succeed.

Projects are easy and so is the homework/quizzes. Can't understand why some people are complaining that the exams are from the book. If this wasn't the case- why would we have a textbook at all? I found this class and professor to be perfectly fine.

Pretty terrible professor. Taught a lot of theory and didn't give many examples of actual programming. Never get on this guys bad side. Nudge him the wrong way once and he will ruin your entire semester. Be patient as his communications skills are really poor. He'll test your patience for sure. If you have zero programming experience, good luck.
