Comment:
He does not teach the subject at all. You can barely hear him speak, all assignment are assigned verbally, so good luck knowing whats due and when its due. Constant guest speakers disrupt the potential flow of learning, and he interrupts them while they are speaking. Be prepared to learn more about his personal life than psychology.

So. Much. Work. I took 4 classes this semester and I swear on my life, he gave more work then the other 3 COMBINED! As others have said you can barely hear him but the problem with that is that he VERBALLY assigns the work and you cannot miss one single paper. The term paper is so hard even the librarian that helps you thinks its ridiculous.

Although he gave extra credits, it is very difficult to get an A in his class. He is an amazing professor just a tough grader.

Really good person and cares about his students. Loves his job also. With that being said he is probably one of the hardest graders when it comes to papers that Ive had at sccc. Lot of homework too, however I definitely did learn a lot

He does not teach very well, he gives about 20 assignments throughout the semester and does not even grade them, he speaks really low and gets upset when people ask him to repeat himself.

This teacher was better than expected. He went to certain lengths to get to know and help his students. He gave motivational lectures and really helped us to be the best we could possibly be. He also gives extra credit, basically a book report. He also gives you access to his website so you can get any of the stuff you missed. Is tech savvy also.

Great professor. Teaches Psychology better than I've experienced in the past. Most of what you learn is in class rather than on your own from reading in a text book. Made class more enjoyable.

I had Dr. Goldberg fall 2016. He is a wonderful professor. I would absolutely take him again. It seems overwhelming in the beginning b/c there is a fair amount of work. Everything he assigned wasn't hard with the exception of the term paper (which every professor assigns). He gives lots of extra credit.

Surprised at other comments about the difficulty. Super easy class. His assignments can barely be called essays, just do the work and you'll be fine. Tests are easy. Theres one big research paper but he really wants you to do well and takes the class to the library to "learn" how to research. If you have an A average you're exempt from final. EasyA

Had a lot of guest speakers through out the semester but gave a lot of work. Tests really didn't have what we went over in class. Didn't keep track of any grades so you can give your self 100s. Offers a lot of extra credit. Talks really low, didn't really make sense sometimes and got mad when you questioned him. Doesn't like people who interrupt.

Dr. Goldberg is a very understanding teacher and overall nice guy. He assigns projects but they're pretty straightforward. As long as you do the little work he assigns, you should be fine. Tests are easy, you grade your own quizzes. Lots of guest speakers, so those are basically days off. The class is interesting!

Taking Dr. Goldberg for psych 101 was the best choice I made for the semester. He gives a good amount of work but wants you to do well so will work with you as much as you need. Answers questions, makes class enjoyable, interesting life stories tied into lessons. I would definitely take his class again. Longest assignment was a 5-7 page term paper.

Made class so interesting. Clear, cut to the point. If you follow instructions you will get an A. Best teacher I've had hands down. made class enjoyable, and a friendly environment. He is friendly and a nurturing teacher. He is there to help . A decent amount of work, but do able. Made my first college experience a good one. Not one complaint.

Dr. Goldberg is a very nice guy, and really loves his job! His class isn't easy though, he gives more than one assignment a day that's due the following class. Took that class my freshman year, and it was a challenge. Just keep up with your assignments and you'll pass.
