Professor Barbier is a good professor. He will answer any questions and gives great feedback. The handbook you use for his class, is something every student should have, to help them become successful in writing. I defiantly recommend anyone looking to learn and strengthen their skills, to take his class.

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! I really liked this professor, dont hesitate to take him. He is really understanding, and he cares about your grade. He gives good feedback on all your papers and lets your revise them. He has kind of awkward jokes but they become funny! Seriously a great professor

He is kind of awkward, but he is pretty funny at times. Lectures aren't the most fun things to go to, and his classes are "Additional Content" classes meaning you have to stay an extra hour per class period than other English classes. Kinda easy grader, just makes you print off and fill out wayyyy too many papers. Would take again.

Stuart was one of the best Eng. Professors I've ever had. He taught me so much and respected every single student equally. He made the class easy at times and harder when it needed to be. He teaches the classes you look forward to going to and isn't dreadful. I learned what I needed to and nothing less.

SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT! This is a lit class. So you can expect to read, a lot. And you have to write a 4 page single space paper for each book that you read. He is a great teacher and has an awesome, quirky, funny personality. Very easy to pass with more then 100 percent if you do all assignments and show up to class.

Comment:

Professor Barbier is one of my favorites. He is easy going and as long as you do your work you will pass. Grades on participation and just gives points for effort on the daily assignments. There are 4 main papers that you will write and he helps you the whole way! I recommend letting him peer edit your drafts because it helps a lot! Take him!

Stuarts class really opened my eyes. I loved the class and his teaching style. He was very inviting and made sure everyone felt their ideas and opinions mattered. He often made jokes during class and kept things interesting. I wish I could take more of his classes. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is a really easy teacher. Very nice guy, doesnt expect much. The homework is more of do it points. He throws extra credit out there. Lectures aren't long. The class is warm and inviting. And he always has a smile on his face, never be afraid to ask him a question

Great teacher!!!!! I was so scared before starting this class, but he has made it so joyful and I've learned so much . I will be talking him for any future English classes.
