Comment:

This was definitely my favorite class all semester and probably favorite math class I've ever taken. Dr. Larson is very understanding and wants everyone to do well. Homework can be difficult but you can rewrite all problems and she gives hints on how to complete them. She gives study guides for all exams they are extremely fair. Take this class!

Comment:

She gives good feedback but her lectures are boring. Hw every night that can be real tedious, and overall just annoying. Her exams are like the hw but not really that similar to the study guide. Go to office hours and she's really helpful but won't give you extra credit.

Larson was hands down my favorite professor this semester. She is so caring and wants everyone to do well in her class. She allows rewrites for her homework assignments so you should be able to do well on the homework and learn the subject better as well. You are given a study guide for the exams and it is basically the same as the exams.

This is the class required for math majors so you have to take it. She was teaching it when it was offered so I was stuck with her. She is very old but she is a sweetie. Larson is like the grandma you never had.

Dr. Larson is amazing! She is very clear and thorough with all of the material and what she expects of her students. She is personable and always willing to meet with her students. I think she is a fantastic teacher and I absolutely adored this class.

Dr. Larson was such a great teacher, always willing to answer your questions and help you with your work. Although the subject of proofs is a bit tedious and challenging, she made it easy to understand. Strongly recommend taking proofs with Larson.

Larson is really nice and helpful. Her lectures can get boring, but how engaging can you get with Business Calculus? There are homework assignment due almost every class and quizzes every other week. Also there are three exams and a final. She was always willing to help in office hours. I'm not the best at math and I would take her again.

Larson was amazing. Her lectures are a little dull, but it's worth it in the end. She is happy to sit down and help you with homework problems in her office hours, and she really helps. I highly recommend her class. As long as you do the homework and listen in class, you don't even need to study for the tests.

Larson is a really great teacher, the material isn't hard. The only thing I hate about her is that she uses so many words to say what she's trying to say when it's as simple as 1+1=2, in other words she is very wordy. Extremely helpful during office hours/easy class

She is one of the nicest math teachers I have ever had. I'm glad she was my last math teacher because I actually learned some stuff. She is EXTREMELY HELPFUL during her office hours. She is super nice. She DOESN'T TAKE ATTENDANCE and she doesn't count it against you. Just show up on test, quizzes and presentation days. NO FINAL only presentation

Dr. Larson is a very sweet lady. She explains everything clearly and shes any easy grader.She a very simple, helpful teacher and she really wants you to learn.Attendance not a big deal.Two quizzes a week(2-3 probs),2 midterms(easy), final.Easy class..all depends on material i think.math 101 is easy.

Business calc isn't going to be exciting no matter who teaches it. She isn't an exception. She is very good at math, but teaches too many formal definitions rather than how to simply do problems. Very helpful one on one and a really nice lady. Do your homework and study a bit and you'll do fine.
