You mainly show up to class and draw whatever still life he sets up. He has an awkward and quirky personality. Nonetheless, he's a positive professor and is willing to give advice. However, if you're already doing in drawing/shading the composition of the still life, he tends not to say much except maybe "good job" (at least in my experience).

This guy is a free spirit! He gives you an assignment but allows you freedom to do it however you want. He is really awkward and sweet! I chose to take him again for Oil Painting. Definitely recommend Tim!

One of the most amazing professors I have ever had. He is very useful and brilliant. Anytime anyone ever needed help or was stuck on something, he'd provide useful criticism. Always tried to look at the positive side to everything. Super funny!

He's very... kooky, but a very good teacher. This is one of the first Introductory Studio classes at GSU and we all had an interesting time with it. Some of the projects were a little out there, but it's expected given the newness of the class.

very quirky and energetic. an interesting person and a very helpful instructor. very understanding and caring. the best way to describe him is whimsical. take this class if you enjoy drawing in a stress-free environment.

He's a pretty fun, crazy guy. As long as you put a decent amount of effort into the class you'll do fine. The perspective project takes a while(but you'll have to do that with any teacher) and he's pretty understanding when you have one of those "i'm sick of this project" days. Overall a good class.

he is so awesome. he's just really nice. and if you work hard, it really pays off in the end. he's really silly, and likes to crack jokes. he sees beauty in almost every piece of work, and i enjoy how he makes meaning out of some squiggles on paper.

Perhaps he came through a porthole directly from 1967, but he really is a good guy & professor. One can imagine that he is a bit out of it, being straight out of the hippy days, but he is a genuinely good [& easy] professor.
