Today (Aug 18th, 2016) We had the final examination of Spanish 102, Summer II. It has been a wonderful course. Still I do not know my final grade. Anyway, this course have been very well planned, Prof. Suarez is a great teacher and even better person. I did not like the textbook, too expensive to be used only 6 weeks...

SPA 101, Summer I with Professor Suarez was great. He displayed respect for each students, very warm and helpful professor and very good as a human being one. Well-organized and prepared. I strongly agree with the instructor and course. I will register SPA 102 with the same Instructor.

Prof. Suarez has been very helpful in Spanish 101 for me. We had only 6 weeks and the instructor was very well-prepared and organized. We worked on 5 1/5 chapters and lots of online assignments. Only 3 quizzes and final exam. I would recommend this instructor to other students. He stimulated interest on us. Of course, I will take SPA 102 with him.

The elements did I find most valuable about this summer I course and about the professor's teaching was that he was very nice and helpful Teacher and he made the course material understandable. Text book was VIVA, not bad. I'd like to take next level SPA 102 with him. Some times his accent was hard but it wasn't bad. I'm Latina, too

Summer I, SPA 101... Prof. Suarez is a competent teacher. I learned a great deal from him in Grammar, cultural prospective and as a human being. I'd recommended Prof. Suarez always for his clear objectives, respectability, well-prepared and organized, effective communicator and encouraging participation. I'm doing Summer II, SPA 102 with him, too

Summer I 2016, SPA 101. Great Professor because objectives were clear and course satisfied the objectives, Professor Suarez was a clear and effective communicator and stimulate interest and participation, very wel knowledgeable in the subject area, Spanish from America. He is the only full time Professor Latino I know in Languages.

I did Summer I 2016 and I think is the best for students to take next class SPA 102 Summer II with same Professor. I like him because the objectives of his class were very clear even if We had only 6 weeks and the course has satisfied the objectives. I would recommend Professor Suarez to other students. He is very funny as aProfessor. GREAT COURSE

The guy is really nice and funny, but if you take this to begin learning Spanish, you have another thing coming. Cannot understand him, reads from the book for the whole lecture and tests are a little confusing. Easy A, attendance mandatory since he makes you sign a paper every class.

He's odd. You'll pass if you put in minimum effort. Textbook is expensive and is a must have. He gives quizzes and a final but lots of online assignments. You'll pass if you do the work no problem but if you don't you won't do that well but I think you'll still pass. Class is usually the full time. Also, he sometimes lowers/raises grades w/o reason

Suarez is a good guy. His class usually is not too boring as he is a funny guy and there is a lot of class participation. Not too much homework, there are 4 quizzes and final. He can be a little hard to understand sometimes and he may have difficulty understanding a student sometimes. Overall, he is a solid spanish teacher, glad I took him.

Don't even bother with this class. Every time you ask him a question he responds with some irrelevant answer that's a mix of Spanish & English. Sometimes he goes over the same chapter twice and forgets he did it the class before. Sure, it's easy. If you don't mind having a frustrating professor who has no idea what he's doing half the time.

Easy A. This professor gets confused with spanish and italian. He is funny and tries to teach as much as he can but very slow. Only gives a midterm and a final. No homework. Take him if you dont want to better your italian!
