Tests are super hard. You are given 24 500-word journals throughout the semester which are really easy and worth 20% of your grade. Quizzes everyday; read the assigned work and you will ace them. She is a really nice teacher.

Ditto to person under me, quotes and where they came from are about 80% of her tests. Quizzes are fair *cough* (sparknotes). Gives extra credit as well. Knows that the class is hard for some and just cares that students show interest in the material and soak up the information she is presenting.

Mrs. Jared is an excellent teacher. She is very clear on what she wants, and I found the assignments to be very enjoyable. She has plenty of assignments, so your grade does not depend on just two tests like some teachers. I would highly recommend Mrs. Jared!

Wonderful teacher. I had her for honors British Lit. Gives lots of chances to make up work and extra credit. Tests aren't too difficult. She probably curves some too because I expected a B but made an A.

Mrs. Jared is an excellent teacher. I was in both of her writing comp. classes, too. She taught me to become a better writer. Sure, some students may find her classes "hard," but that's because these students lack the meaning behind her teaching. An 'A' is very obtainable, but it's not an easy A. I'm going to miss ya, Mrs. Jared! :D

It's been nice so far, but in all truthfulness she is picky..as long as you go to conferences w/her, she will correct your papers and its fine. I like her, she's really sweet and she's also passionate about teaching, reminds me of my English teachers in high school :) she's good.

Great professor! I had her for british literature too. She is very helpful and sweet. Study quotes that she says to mark, things she writes on the board, and read. She gives quizes almost every day so try not to miss class.

I had Mrs. Jared for Eng 1010 and 1020. Keep up with your journals for an easy A on an exam. Make appts. to see her on each paper because she will correct EVERYTHING and all you have to do is put forth effort and you will be fine. SHE HATES CELL PHONES!

Do not take her for brit lit. She is a very hard and does not tell you is going to be on the test. Her exact quote about what to study is "Study Everything". It is immpossible when there is so many stories and notes. NEEDS TO RETIRE!!!!!!!!
