Prof. Chin is one of the best and most interesting professors I've had in my college career. He really is a genius in his field, but you wouldn't know it by how nice, humble, and funny he is. His lectures are clear and concise and he is more than willing to help you on the side and get to know you. It was a pleasure being in his class.

Comment:
He is funny, easy, and knows his stuff. Maybe because he knows his stuff so well so he assumes you know that, in fact you may not. Easy tests I think, the same as his lecture problems, but the mean in class is only about 70. I do not know why. Textbook is not useful at all in his class, but it is a good book if you want to study more about excel.

Professor Chin is one of the best professors teaching doctoral students. He is also one of the top researchers in the world in his field. UH is lucky to have someone of his caliber and I hope he stays around at least until I graduate.
