Comment:

Only reads off the slides. His deadlines are confusing and most of the time the class would miss it due to his lack of communication. He won't mention homework being posted, he doesn't engage conversation about the topic, nor does he care if you learn it or not. Teach yourself. What is on the test isn't necessarily what he goes over in class.

he is a great guy, one of the nicest professors I have ever had. He is very smart man, yes he has an accent but its not THAT bad if you pay attention . the class is very straight forward: a homework and quiz are due everyweek(they are online) and one midterm and a final. very simple. show up, listen to the lecture, do your work and you should pass

Very intellectual but not a good professor. I understand it's hard to teach students the theory of economics but I took another professor and they took a different outlook on economics and made it an inspirational experience.

Sorry, but so far worst professor I've had at WESTCONN. Lectures are long, doesnt bother to learn anyone's name, reads off powerpoint slides, give out online hwquizzes which have confusing deadlines. TBH, find someone who will show up and tell them to sign you into the attendance, show up for the midterm and final and do well by reading the book.

Very disappointed, barely passed with C-, never received C at Westconn. Spent over 28 hours using an online economics lab , he does not take that into consideration. English is his second language, very difficult to understand

Somewhat hard to understand which made it really hard to pay attention. He tells you what's on the exams before hand but wasn't much help. Make sure you do the online hw on time! Very confusing as to when it's due

If you are really interested in learning Microeconomic ,don't take this professor, he literally reads everything off the power point. This class is based on knowing the concepts, since he doesn't know how to teach the concepts. If you don't understand something off the book, be ready to do your own extra research in order to get better understand.

he reads strictly off of power point slides so attending class is almost pointless bc they are provided on black board: he is not helpful when asked for help and relies solely on the "my pearson lab"" online tool which does not by any means aid in the better understanding of this course, but rather hurt students. beware he is a terrible professor.

Pan can be hard to understand in that he will say something like potion when he means portion. His accent is not terrible to the point of not understanding and saying otherwise would be a lie He does have the problem with reading off of the pwrpt slides and for a lower class its nice but not needed to show up in a higher lvl course you need to go

All Professor Pan does is read powerpoints every class, and gives two scantron tests per semester. His lectures are extremely boring, you could literally download all his powerpoints, read them at home, never show up to class, and get the same mark that you would have by attending. He grades based on homework and two tests.

Pan is simply there to read/explain PowerPoints to you and hand out a midterm and final. The class is very boring and homework is to do online quizzes, which you can get 100 on every time with some patience of repeating questions until you get them right. Never did well on his midterm or final but I will take him next semester for ECO101.

Okay his class is pretty straight forward. There are no tricks or curveballs in his exams. The secret to doing well in his class is to study everything in the book and the study guide. If you read the book twice and do all the practice problems in the study guide then you will get an A.This means you dont have to go class because its pointless.

Unlike most other reviews I thought he was a good teacher. I was able to understand his lectures. I had two classes with him. His quizzes were hard and tricky; but if you work hard, you should get a good grade. I got A in both classes.

WORST TEACHER EVER. i know this is a requirment but please dont take it with him. all the economics teachers suck and i was looking forward to this class til i had it with pan. you cant understand what he says so there is no point in going to class and the test are inpossible unless you teach yourself from the book. good luck!

he is not as horrible as other ppl are saying. i understood everything he said when i had him and i passed with an A!! if ppl would actually study and read the material maybe they will pass!!
