Read reviews & see he hasn't changed. had him when he was a grad asst in '89. all things good & bad i read describes him. he taught intermediate 1 & 2 and i passed both first time thru. my take, he got out of the navy & was looking for 2nd career. UWF could have done worse but it could have done better. RR - Class of '89 Accounting

I'm pretty good at math, and pretty good at accounting. But this guy is horrible!! The people that give him good ratings gotta be his PETS because he never answered any of my questions when I went to his office, and the material on his tests are WAY harder than the handouts, and barely includes anything from the book on his test.

UWF will miss a great teacher. Tried to make hard subject bearable. Tests focused on concepts and real world applications. Wish more teachers were like him.

He is probably the best asset UWF has in the Accounting department. I'm very thankful I have him this semester as it is his last. I'm not sure why I am even writing this as he won't be teaching anymore. I suppose I just wanted a public record of his excellent duty of care to his students. Thank you Mr. Frank!

I had Mr. Frank a few years ago when at UWF. I'm now a CPA and a Sr. Associate for a Big 4 firm in Jacksonville and I credit much of what I learned to Mr. Frank. Not only did he teach me the fundamentals of GAAP, but he also made a potentially dry subject, for someone that knew little about it, fun and interesting.

Best accounting instructor at UWF. Testing is tough, but very "real world" and prepare you for CPA exam. Weeds out the non-accountants. Cares about the students who really want to learn. Always approachable and available during office hours. If you understand his handouts, you'll pass his tests.

Cares about students. Be a serious student and ask questions. Very tough class. Gives help during office hours. Attend every class. The book helps to prepare for the lecture. The homework questions don't reflect test questions. Don't get lulled into a false sense of security with them.Do handouts & take notes when he works them in class.

Tests on handouts and assigned problems in book. Tests are easy as long as you study. Nice guy with a quirky sense of humor. Easy class to pass as long as you do the problems he recommends.

Incredible learning experience, exams are 100% word problems taken almost directly from the handouts and homework, he awards partial credit and error carried forward. YOU MUST STUDY, if you don't you won't pass, those that don't attend class do not do well. If you are an accounting major, and you seriously want to learn, take this professor.

There is no way to sugar coat this man's class. He sucks, his tests REALLY suck, the class sucks. Must be a dedicated student and a$$ kisser to do well in his class. While he may give partial credit on exams, the questions on the exams are REALLY hard and are advanced problems from what he has taught in class and from the handouts and exercises.

Mr. Frank is tough, but fair. His tests are hard, but he is lenient on the grading. He gives lots of points for partial credit. He is always available for help. His exams are on what he covers, but with a few little twists that make you think.

Once you get to know Mr. Frank he is actually very nice. His class is hard, but accounting is not an easy subject. Be prepared for a lot of studying. Do all the exercises and handouts. If you have questions he is always available to students in his office. I managed an A-, but man I studied my butt off!

Hard class, if you are going to pass, do all of the homework, and work at it. If you d ont, there is no way to pass. Read the book, understand as much as you can before class. I will be taking this class again in the spring.
