Such a nice prof, exams are short and pretty straight forward. We were allowed to use our notes and the text book. GPA booster for sure. If you have no music background his explanations may not be clear, but youtube and some good notes can fix that. We had 2 midterms, and a final. Really nice guy.

At first glance, I was terrified of Professor Dunn. He seemed like a pretty ill tempered man. But after a few classes, I realized he was actually super sweet and very patient. Everything is opened notes, so the class was a breeze. I'd really recommend his class! One negative side: The textbook is rarely used, but it's a requirement.

Having very little music experience going into this class, I was at first completely confused. I felt like the prof went too fast and didn't cater enough to the people who really needed help. but when I took my questions to him I realized he is very willing to assist students and really wants them to understand. all tests are open book. so dont wor

When I entered the class, I already had significant music knowledge. However, I thought he taught the material very well. Great choice of textboook (Herrold). Very easy quizzes and test. Everything was open notebook, even the final. Great GPA booster for people with musical backgrounds and excellent foundation class for those who don't.

This is the easiest class I've ever taken. It's not meant for people that have done music their whole life. But for the people that didn't spend the first 80% of the course snoring, Dr. Dunn was very clear and pandered to the idiots, which is a good thing for them. Nice guy too. Picked on the same people over and over again in class, namely ME.

This guy is very easy to talk to, and he gives you an outline on what is going to be on the test a lecture before the exam. This class is very easy if you listen to his lectures very carefully, and do all the exercises in the text. The one thing i don't like about him is that he is always late. N
