She is really nice, and most of the class is very simplified. No text book, you just have to read articles. There is some group work involved. I'm taking her again next semester for Criminology. Definately a fairly easy and fair class with not too much work. Definately recommend her as a teacher.

I've been at UD for 3.5 years and she is the worst professor ever! She likes to read this site and then yell at you for negative feedback. I got a B+, so this is not done out of spite. I wanted to take criminogoly next semester but I saw she was teaching it. She is not fit to teach any class at all. Maybe how to demean your students! Booooo Cass!

SHe is a good young teacher who grades pretty fairly. But Needs MORE POINTS IN CLASS!! 100 pts is not enough, u lose 10 points you have no chance in getting an A. At least 200 points next year professor Cass!

Cass is a great teacher who tries new ways to make sociology interesting. If you understand the articles you will do fine on the pop quizes, total of 10pts. Two regular multiple choice exams and one oral. Participate, read the articles, and take good notes and you should be fine. Ignore the other comments.

one of the most awful teachers i have ever had. if she wasn't on a power trip she might realize how to teach the class fairly. she penalizes the kids who work hard and go to class. If she wants to become a real professor, or at the very least keep her job she is going to have to learn how to listen to the students. avoid if at all possible

Don't take it unless you plan on spending most of the term focusing on this class. WAY too much work for a 300-level, and a boat load of group work means jumping through hoops outside of class just to get everyone in one place, especially if your ASSIGNED group doesn't give a darn. Strong recommendation to avoid. She is pretty hot though
