Comment:

Do NOT take her online in summer. Zero feedback whatsoever, and there's no video or audio lectures. Memorize the textbook chapter by chapter, take the tests, write a midterm and a final paper with no guidance? Never again. I've heard she's better in person but online in summer it's ridiculous, she thinks you don't have other classes, or a life.

Professor Krevans has good intentions, but lacks the organization skills to be a great teacher. She is very off-the-cuff and all over the place for lack of better words. Students often have to correct her mistakes on tests. The choices for answers are wrong for at least 1 question every exam making it confusing Loses hwk and quizzes

She isn't too bad. She's actually pretty fair and flexible. She can be a bit unorganized, but she offers extra credit and allows you to take chapter tests up to three times, using the highest score, so that helps with your grade.

Please don't take her class online. She's the most unorganized professor I've ever experienced. She makes the convenience of online classes, inconvenient. She's all over the place. Removes exams before you have the chance to take them far before the due date. Constantly changing due dates. It's very frustrating. She's not for the organized student.

Very disorganized, class lectures got behind and then continued to get more and more behind, grades were not input regularly, things she told the class she would do were not done in a timely manner or by the times she indicated they would be done. She did however give extra credit and offer to tutor students who needed help outside of class time.

This professor is good but she is really disorganized. The grades were not input through the semester. A report and project was given to us right before exam week. There was very little instruction provided for this report that was due. Part of the project had to be done at school because of a special program that is available at Tri-c

I don't understand why there's such terrible comments. She was awesome! Straight forward, easy A! She gives you THREE tries on each exam and drops the lowest score. Extra credit included watching CLUELESS! It doesn't get any better than this!! Discussion posts are excessive, but that's the life of online classes. MOST DEFINITELY TAKE HER!

she's very discombobulated -- her lectures are usually very hectic and hard to follow. it's easier to take notes from the book than it is to take them from her most of the time. there's also a big class research project that wasn't handled the best.

She was a mess. She was all over the place in her lecture and on blackboard. It was very confusing to follow. If you didn't read everything in the book and read every article on blackboard, you were screwed. Keep up with your grade because I had received an "I" at first because her grade book was all jacked up. I suggest avoiding her if possible.

Bi-weekly discussion boards, three versions of each chapter test (3 lowest chaps are dropped), two exams cover both halves of the book with 70 multiple choice in 70 mins and 30 min essay. Due dates are spread out. Outline, intro paragraph, and three sources are turned in before 4-5 page research paper. Keep track of due dates for success.

This class was not what I expected. First of all I could never reach her through email. She'll respond weeks later, and secondly taking this class online is a no no, she gives you 20 minutes to complete quizes and an hour to complete exams. I did not like taking her class online.

The syllabus was all over the place. She had the wrong due dates on it (from the previous semester) however you were expected to figure out the dates on your own. Could never reach the instructor through e-mail. This class is very jam packed can not fall behind because you can't catch back up. Also there is a huge research paper.

If you read the book and do your readings, class will be excellent. Great at giving examples to explain psychological concepts. Available outside of class. Gives study questions for every test, and lets you know essay questions ahead of time. Great teacher- really intelligent.

she seemed a little tense at times, and initially the class was confusing- but once you realize that she is lecture based, and expects you to read the textbook at home as well, it's easy to keep up. make flashcards, know your vocabulary and main people involved in the chapter, you'll be fine. don't be afraid to ask questions!
