Comment:
Professor Amy was nice and all, but her tests were extreme. Every 2 weeks we had a 75 question test. If you do not study, you're screwed. She gives a lot of extra credit and let's you drop the lowest test score, but the tests were excessive and worth your whole grade. Good luck.

Amy is a wonderful teacher, her lectures are dense but she keeps them fun and light-hearted. She always tries to be very clear and will sometimes repeat her points many times to do so. There is a lot of extra credit opportunity! If you skip class though, you will get behind. Overall, great class!!

Professor Clegg has some pros and cons to her teaching. I like her as a person, she is funny and lets you get out early. She understands that things are stressful as a college student and gives out extra credit. But the tests are hard no matter how hard you study and her lectures are boring. She does get off topic most of the time as well.

She's a nice person overall but her tests are extremely hard no matter how much you study and she tends to get carried away during her lectures on things that are completely off topic. Shell try to help you if you can't figure something out but it hardly helps. She doesn't have any office hours either.

Amy is an amazing person & professor. Shes so smart & funny & knows what shes talking about. the content is very hard but she tries to explain it the best she can. You NEED to read the book & supplement bc the lecture alone wont help. If you aren't that great at bio then just put a lot of time & effort into studying! 5 tests, 1 "paper", & a final.

Fall 2016 really cool and is extremely approachable as her any questions she will always try to help. I recommend getting the text book because there are questions that are clearly on the test not in her guide she provided a guide that really helps with the direction of the class Using them side by side and you will pass&DO CHEAT SHEETS++++

Professor Amy is okay, however, during her lectures, she doesn't really teach. She just talks and talks and talks about things that I think are not important. Yes, her lectures are somewhat helpful but what helped me the most is her supplement and the book. Doesn't use her class time wisely in my opinion. Getting an A is doable.

You will read your ass off in this class, & the chapters are EXTREMELY dense. If you have other tough classes, do NOT take this class! This class needs your undivided attention, if you want to pass with an A or B. Tests are difficult & long (expect 80 questions each test!) Final exam is comprehensive of all 14 chapters!

She is by far, the most helpful teacher I've had at RCC. She truly sets you up to succeed and pass her class, it's just up to the individual to want to work for it. She gives a few extra credit points on every chapter test (but nothing that'll save you if you bombed an exam). Though her heart is in the right place, the lectures killed me slowly...

Very confusing on what she expects of us. Gives study guide but then says that's not what will appear on the exam. Doesnt discuss all the topics in depth but then gives really tough questions on the exam. Requires to buy supplement but the booklet does not cover all chapters as well! I do not recommend for you to take her classes.

Expects to read the whole chapter before coming to class and then just Uses class time as consultation period by entertaining every single question. Instead of doing a lecture discussion in class. Did not allow me to take the exam just because i was 10 mins late despite valid reason. Very inconsiderate. Don't take her. Shes the worst

Provides "study guide" but then the questions on the test doenst even reflect on the study guide. Its like taking an online class since she just uses class hour to entertain questions, she doesnt discuss much only 3-5 PPT slides, so basically you need to learn everything on your own by reading the book. Not recommended if fulltime student

Doesnt discuss much (only 40 mins in class) so you really need to read the book to pass. Uses most of the time to take unnecessary questions instead of going over whats needed for the exam. However she has extra credit opportunities & bonus exam points which helps boost your grade. She also has a good sense of humor

Really good-spirited professor I must say. But in this course's entirety... DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN EXCESSIVE WORKLOAD/STUDY TIME FOR YOUR OTHER CLASSES. Her class involves a lot of reading and studying just for her difficult exams so if you are going to classes full-time, I don't recommend taking her.

Wastes all class time speaking about herself. Plays 2 many videos not related to the book & those questions are more on the exam. Tries 2 hard to be funny by behaving unlike her age. Is not approachable & favors students that make her feel like she fits in. This class isn't about learning, its about memorizing facts 2 pass insanely difficult exams!

I found this class to be highly interesting. Favorite class last term. She is very straight forward. The entire course grade is based on 6 exams and one paper (which is like homework). She drops your lowest exam. As long as you read all the material (including her supplement) and use her study guides, you can get an A. Takes work but it's college!

Biopsychology is my major and she made me rethink my entire life in less than 16 weeks. But I don't blame the subject, I blame her and her teaching style. She barely lectures during class time, plays a lot of videos and asks questions specifically about them on a test and tests you on external links not discussed in class whatsoever.
