I learned more from reading the book and doing the homework problems than going to class. She tends to just read off the PowerPoint (available on blackboard) and does not take attendance. Very helpful during office hours, not so much class.

This was my second time taking FIN311, the first time round I got a D in the class (Which at Clemson is an F). This second time round with Dr. Morgan I got an A... She explained everything so much better than my first teacher, the formula sheet we were given on tests was organized and readable, everything about it was great! Take Dr. Morgan!

Comment:

She's a good and very sweet teacher - go to class though. If you do the practice tests a few times and pay attention, you won't need the book at all. The material on the practice test is NOT identical to the regular tests so make sure you actually understand it, don't try to memorize. Would definitely recommend!

Comment:

Dr. Morgan is great! She really knows her stuff, and you will learn a lot from her class. There are 3 tests and she gives practice tests for them that are pretty much exactly the same with different numbers. There's 3 Excel projects that are pretty easy. I'm taking her for 402 because I enjoyed her class so much. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Morgan is super sweet and helpful. If you just read the chapters once and do the practice tests, you should have an easy A. Finance isn't an interesting subject, so sure its a boring class. She is a great reference and a good person to ask questions outside of class

Very boring teacher, but pretty easy. I got an 80 on the first test and still got an A and exempted the final. Just do the practice tests over and over.

Dr. Morgan is a great professor. However, 402 is a very difficult class. The first test is very difficult so make sure you do well on it! Go to class, take notes on the powerpoints, and make sure you do well on the class project (FinGame) where you manage a company for the semester. Isn't too difficult to make a 'B'.

Very nice. Very fair. Not my favorite but I can't really complain. Just study the practice tests and you'll be alright. The projects can be hard. Goes very fast through her lectures.
