Comment:

I took ECE312 and enjoyed the class. We had 3 projects and 3 exams(last project was optional due to the closure of school) We had take home quizzes and every class session we did a review of what we took notes on in the previous class. She is very thorough and takes her time to explain any question a student has. She also gives extra credit.

Comment:

Tough grader. Has you write multiple paper and grading is very strict. Never got a perfect score no matter how hard I tried. If you didn't include something she thought of, you are going to get points taken off. Fairly nice though. Talks about her children a lot which is cute. Lectures are okay, pretty boring overall. Friendly. Exams are quite hard

I took Prof. Otto's FCS 324 class and I have to say, it was one of the most pleasant classes I have ever taken. She is very clear on what she expects from you to attain an A. She sticks to the syllabus and honestly, if you read the book, you will pass. Her lectures also attend to the tests. If you need this class, take hers!

I LIKED her class it was easy, her lectures are on point with the text, quizzes, tests, and final! not a hard class at all the subject is easy and interesting. Final is multiple choice SHE IS SO SWEET AND FUNNY SHE IS DARLING!!!

LOVED THE CLASS!! EASY SHE IS AMAZING AND A CARING WOMEN. TESTs ARE NOT HARD as long as you study the notes. you can print them out so you dont have to right, quizzes are take home and easy read the book and briefly even she lectures about it the next day no surprises and the final was easy. fun/boring/interesting class

Mrs. Otto is very clear with her expectations in class. You are expected to read before class and she lectures on what was supposed to be read. Test questions come from the textbook bank of questions so there are no surprises. There are 3 projects over the semester but they are very simple if you follow the prompt.

She is very nice and loves the topic she teaches. I would gladly take another class with her. My only complaints, if I had to come up with any, would be that she sometimes doesn't call on people enough and she requires a lot of 3-5 page reports per semester.

Anna Otto was a great teacher. She was very thorough and tried to make things interesting. Study vocab. words and her powerpoints. Easy to contact through email as well. Would love to take another class with her again.

She is inconsistent and changes her rules to accommodate students she likes and to punish those that she doesn't. If you get on her good side you're fine, other than that she's terrible.

This was one of my best classes! Mrs. Otto is very fun, talkative, and informative. We went over what was in the text book (something very important to me, given how much the book costs! LoL). A lot of group work, that was fun and informative as well. I would most definately take her again if I needed to; and I would recommend her to anyone!

She is a great instructor. She does include her family as examples to the unit info but it definitly pertains to the class. She is a fair instructor and is willing to work with you if you need extra help. I would take her class again without hesitation. The power point bullets get a little boring but thats where the tests come from.

This class is stupid-easy... The material is really interesting and the textbook and its companion website are super helpful. Ms. Otto doesn't teach much. She's nice and knows the subject... Do the online quizzes, the tests are almost identical. Other students in the class drag the class down talking about their personal lives. Otto lets them.

Comment:

Very understanding teacher, talks about her kids alot but it's appropriate for the class. Always willing to accept late work, lots of projects though and opportunities for extra credit. Does not grade hard at all, very fair teacher.

Nice. talks about her kids a lot, but its cute. i would not take this class if it is one day a week, because three hours is to long to sit going over the power point bullets. the tests are unpredictable.

3 units of: 1 50 point project, 2 15 point homeworks, one test. Talks about kids/family *nonstop*. Class: all middle aged mothers, and TWO guys. Tests are RANDOM. Studying or not doesnt really change score. Lots of Extra Credit opportunities thankfully.

She's a mom and talks about her kids (it is Child Development)however she fell behind an entire unit and just rushed through it. You can easily can an A without reading. The class ran late and we never got a full break if any.
