Dr. Graves is very thorough. She clearly explains the things she wants you to know, and gives you multiple sources to study from. Extra credit as needed and all tests are mostly multiple choice, with some short answer.

Attendance isn't actually mandatory but there is a quiz every single day. Upside, there is an opportunity to earn 2 extra credit points EVERY SINGLE DAY on the quiz. She writes study guides for every test and gives extra credit opportunities often. She gives you the questions for the cumulative portion of the final a month before the final.

Professor graves is an amazing teacher, I had no interest in biology, and i put it off my entire 3 years at sac city just because i hated it so much. her tests are hard but the number one rule is DO THE STUDY GUIDE its almost a guaranteed way to pass the test. sheri is super helpful, and always gives personal time to clear confusion. she's awsome

Easy quizzes if you read the book! Definitely need to study for tests, but if you go to class everyday and take notes it shouldn't be difficult. She gives you online quizzes that help a lot! Some of the questions on the practice quizzes are on the test. She's very descriptive when answering your question. I recommend.

Professor Graves is so passionate about biology. She seems to have an in-depth answer for every question. Must read the textbook to prepare for daily quizzes. The 3 article reviews will be a piece of cake if you pick an article you are actually interested in! The study guides she gives before each exam are more difficult than the actual test.

Sherry is a great teacher... she is pasionate about Biology especially conservation boiology.. this is a basic BIOL course.. reading is 2-3 pages at a time and quiz every morning just on the information on those pages.. pay attention and do all the extra credit It is an easy A!

i didn't do to well in that class but she never gave up on me she is very helpful and i really appreciated it. the class is mandatory, and the midterms are kinda tough so you got to study and pay attention in class. overall i thought she was a good professor.

She was very good with lecture but her lab class isn't so great. Lab consist of a quiz of the beginning of class and an individual genetic disorder presentation @ the end of the school year. when students asks her questions she usually answer with a "I don't know" and the way she teaches he lab class isn't that clear.

this class is difficult. lecture outlines are hard to follow. 3 articles are an easy 150 points if u keep resubmitting them. study guides are some help but u mist go to class, stuff on study guide not in book.

she teaches good. class is mandatory. 3 artical reiew and she lets you redo it. reading the text before class is require cuz there is a quiz at the beginning of class. study guide is very long but not hard to find. test is matching vocab, t/f questions, short answers and mini essays. i like her class but hope to get atleast a c. kinda hard. :(

Currently taking her BIOL350 class. Its been about 4-5 weeks now. The class is really easy. daily quizes are ridiculously easy. Tests aren't easy, but they're not too tough either. She lets you redo some assignments to get more points. She also gives out alternatives, for ppl who can't go on the required fieldtrip.

She's so awesome!! She balanced the special creation v. evolution deal perfectly and without insulting anyone. READ. Daily quizzes aren't bad at all, the tests are fine if you aren't a complete idiot. Article reviews can be re-done for more points. Just do your work and the A is pretty easy, can't do poorly untless you're dumb. She really is great!

Great instructor for the lab course. You'll have to be self-motivated, as the labs are self-guided, but she's always there to help. Class sessions are very well-organized: quiz on previous lab; new lab; leave when you're done. COMPLETE THE LAB BEFORE YOU LEAVE, or you'll regret it. Work hard and you'll get an A--she doesn't hand it to you.

Wonderful teaching skills & very interactive in the class. Tells you exactly everything you need to know for tests. Not an easy A but an easy B. Answers e-mails frequently. Gives daily quizes on readings which helps your grade a lot. Recommend for anyone to just fill general ed requirements

Okay these comments are making her seem nice and easy. If you are taking contemporary bio..GOOD LUCK! She is not easy at all. Her study guides she gives for the test does not narrow down what you need to know. you have a 5 pt quiz every day as soon as class starts. If you are 5 mins late you lose the 5 pts. Doesn't seem like much but it adds up.

She is very helpful and seems like she would do anything to help her students succeed. If you don't understand somnething or have questions, she was always willing to stay after class to help. A very nice lady, the class wasn't that hard, but wasn't totally easy. You get all needed exam info from the lectures & only need the book for quizzes.
