Comment:

She's a very nice person don't get me wrong, her lectures are just unnecessarily long and boring, and her grading criteria isn't very clear. However, she cares about the success of her students and if you study the material given to you there's no reason why you wouldn't get a great mark.

Comment:

Baird gives lots of opportunities for extra credit and she is very nice. Her lectures are extremely boring and she is very monotone. Exams are extremely difficult although she gives lots of hints on what to study--half of it does not appear on the exam. I dreaded sitting in her classes every week for 3 hours. Reading the book is key.

She's very nice, approachable, helpful, and caring... but it's really time for her to retire. She's very disorganized, unclear, and monotone. I don't know why she tries to integrate so many videos/external links into her lectures when she has such a difficult time with technology, it's honestly painful to watch. Only take her classes if you have to

I enjoy these type of classes because attendance is not necessary at all; 80% - 90% of her midterms and final came from the text and the missing 10%-20% came from study notes she told you to study. I found her class super easy and she gives a bunch of bonus marks. also the paper was only 10% so just spend most of your time reading the text

Dr Baird is very kind and considerate to concerns. I love that she is willing to help you succeed, but the tests are very difficult to pass regardless. My fault for not giving the class my all and not taking advantage of her office hours. I recommend her, but you have to work hard; not an easy A.

Anne Baird is terrible. Extremely boring and monotone professor. Tests are next to impossible even if you study hard. A little bit of advice? Avoid this class AT ALL COSTS. Save yourself, it is too late for me :) :)

I enjoyed this class and Dr Bairds teaching of the material. Very approachable and caring for her students and their success. A bit dry with her lectures but she has good examples. Tests are difficult but passable.

225 is okay. Her lectures put me to sleep and the material is depressing. Shes sweet and caring but her tests are tough and I sometimes cant hear or follow her but she is very knowledgeable.

The lectures are very dry. She does not convey much enthusiasm in what she is teaching. She also talks very quietly so it is difficult to hear her. The lectures were not helpful. Her midterms were difficult, but not impossible. Overall, the class was okay but I would not recommend taking a class with her.

Dr. Baird is such a kind person. She truly cares about her students. Very approachable and understanding. She makes you work hard for the grade but at least she cares. She's so sweet, she even gives out candy for participation. Who does that??

Nice lady but has very dry lectures. She seriously needs to retire. Her classes are interested but she had very boring, monotone lectures which makes it hard to stay focused

Lectures are very informational - further explained material from the textbook. Very nice lady who is attentive to questions and difficulties. Important to attend class because she sometimes gives out bonus points.

She is a very kind prof and is very approachable. Although she can be dry at times she tries her best to keep the class interesting. She uses great examples for the students to understand concepts and is a very sweet woman. The class isn't difficult as long as you follow her study guides! Overall a good class!

Very sweet lady. Makes classes as interesting as possible for an 8:30am class. Used a variety of examples and activities to engage us, helped with remembering concepts. She is very clear with what she wants on the paper. Final exam was tougher than the midterms. Overall, very good professor.
