Britt is an awesome teacher. She is super helpful in taking time to help you understand something and explains every question in detail. However, she gives 6 assignments the whole year, group presentation that is fun, 3 exams, and a cumulative final at the end. You really have to study to do good. But with her help, it can help you so much!

The course is a lot of work for a 200-level class, but Dr. Britt makes it as interesting as she can. The material can be difficult and requires practice but she's also willing to help you out.

Favorite professor I've taken so far! I took Psyc 305 and 245 with her and received and A- in both. Prof Britt definitely knows the information she's teaching and offers plenty of opportunities for students to seek out her help if they're having trouble understanding. Exams are difficult, but she often curves them; WARNING NOT A CLASS FOR SLACKERS.

She was very unorganized which reflects her teaching. For a 200 level class, she is very hard. I struggled with this class and I am an A student. If you want an easy class do not take her or this course.

Critical thinking is definitely important and Britt presents hard information in an entertaining way. You do have to put some time into this class so it is definitely not a class for slackers. Class helped me argue better and not be afraid to challenge others.

I thought that psyc 245 was pretty difficult! she tries her best to help and thats nice but class was difficult. I'm glad this class will be over in a couple weeks! i wouldn't recommend taking this class because i found it a little too difficult for being a lower level class. nice teacher, not a great class though

Britt teaches difficult courses, but is more than willing to meet outside and give additional help to understand material. She's a little scatterbrained and can't spell but she's extremely nice and worth taking.

loved her. always rushing & a bit disorganized BUT makes it first priority to help class. will slow down & make sure class understands. just ask questions & she will answer them. easy points with attendance, HW, & project. tests were pretty challenging for me. she did use the book a lot & the handbook! she was hard, but the material is important.

when the semester started, I wasn't sure about this course and if I should stay in it. I'm glad I did because it actually taught me a lot. It was hard but Britt is helpful and fair. I think this should be a required class for everyone to take.

Great personality. She cracks me up as she is always rushing around and making fun of herself. A very likeable person. However the class was a bit hard. She wasnt too clear about her tests and the way it was written was very difficult. Questions didnt seem to meet core concepts rather stuff that needed to be memorized. But overall interesting info

She is extremely organized, the class is allready difficult, and this is one of the hardest teachers for 305!! You will have to work for your A, no joke! However, you learn so much and you will need to know the material for your lab's..She makes sure that you understand and is an amazing person! would love to take again.but maybe a different class

I expected to struggle in Research Methods after reading all these comments, but decided to tough it out and am glad I did. As long as you don't miss ANY classes and study then the course is really not that bad. Although the tests are difficult, daily assignments make up a large fraction of points. Britt is also very helpful.

AHHHHHHH.... the most DIFFICULT professor I have ever had! You literaly have to memorize pages and pages of incoherent gibbirish to pass this class. Research methods DOES NOT have to be this way. Yes, we need to know this information for the labs but I am 1000% positive that the lab teachers will not torture us as much as this! Worst class ever!!!

absolutely brutal class. sets a ridiculously high bar for her students that really seems to set them up for failure. & unless you have 4-6 hours a week and you enjoy a disorganized teacher who is really unclear about her expectations, don't take her class.

This class is so much work! The material is hard to begin with, but she makes it extra hard by being a hard grader and only giving your credit for assignments done in very very specific ways. All of her examples are from her field (cognitive psychology), so if you dont understand cognitive psychology then you're in trouble. Very very hard professor

At first I wanted to drop the class because it seemed like alot of work, and it was, but it was well worth it. I learned so much from this class, and you need it all for the labs. Her tests are VERY hard, but she really does want you to succeed. If you try, you will do well. She is very sweet and can be intimidating at first, but take this class!

Britt is an excellent teacher. I had no passion or interest in research before her class and now i do. Her passion for the subject will jump out at you. This is a good quality in a teacher that is teaching a difficult class. Go to class, STUDY HARD and ask questions and i guarantee you'll do fine.
