Comment:
Coulson has been out of the game for a long time and his many long-winded stories are proof. (Just smile and nod like everyone else. )This professor is out of touch and you are on your own when it comes to learning anything. Lectures are him reading off power points mostly via zoom. Find another professor for this class.

For the people who didn't like him, they just didn't pay attention. He's clear about what he wants from the students and is available if you have questions. Weekly quizzes, and there were about 6 writing assignments spread out. No midterm, just a final, not too hard if you paid attention to his online lectures.

Whatever you do, do not take this class. The course is largely based around a single project that is due at the end of your quarter, and if you are paired with people that are slacks, you are going to fail it. He says the course is based on the book and lectures, but its not. Look elsewhere if you want a better, more thoughtful learning experience.

The class itself was pretty easy, however he makes sure to give assignments that require a lot of time. Reading and quizzes every week. About 6 papers (discussion papers, projects, and trend report). His quizzes are from the reading, you must read because the questions can be tricky. Overall the class was doable, just a lot of work.

Took online has quizzes every week. Also you will have about 6 assignment that require papers 3-4 page papers pretty annoying but not bad. Does 45 min video lectures that show you how to complete assignments but only 10 min explain the assignment the other 35 min he talks about himself. Really not bad at all. Would take again! No Group Project

I took his course online and was not too difficult. It's based on weekly quizzes, 3 Discussions, 3 info tools, a trend report and a final. The work is pretty time consuming but it is not hard if you watch the video lectures and read the book. I learned a lot in this course. Loved it!!!

The lectures were focused on him. How important he is... Oh, and occasionally, the subject matter. No feedback on quizzes.

Online quizzes (answers are in the book, not online), one exam (final) which is online as well, a group SWOT project, and a few personal assignments which are 1-2 pages if that. Does online meetings instead of coming to class sometimes. Easy A if you simply do what you're supposed to. If you want to pass, he's your guy!

He's a very funny guy with substantial life experience. He usually doesn't go by the book, but he talks about real life stuff related to lessons. There is an on-line quiz due every week, 2-3 individual papers and 1 group project. You have to pay attention to his instructions for the homework and do exactly what he asks there, and you will be fine.

Absolutely brilliant. Quizzes, group presentation, a few shorts essays and projects. Easy coursework, but you still have to apply yourself. Take this course if you have other courses that require a lot of time and effort. Don't buy the text book.

Cool professor talks about himself and lecture. You only understand his jokes if you show up to every lecture. Study the book online under review and take practice tests. Easy pass.

He is very sarcastic to classmates. However, if you do all the assignments, quizzes, group project you will be fine. Ignore his humor, he thinks it's funny but its not, its mean. Online lectures, he doesn't teach but just talk about himself. He's sarcastic when you ask him a question. Easy A if you do the homework. DONT BUY TEXTBOOK

My class was online. He gave you the link to an online training program and the program gave you three options. Easy 80%, Medium 85%, Hard 89%. Then a final project one that was more technical and another one that was research based. Online program was great and I learned a ton. It was time consuming bc I choose the hard one. About 75 hours total.

The work itself is not very hard. Just make sure you pay attention to deadlines because he will not accept any late work. He doesn't curve at all and his grading point system is very cut and dry. I did good on all my assignments and only missed one assignment and a quiz that didn't seem worth a lot but I ended up getting a B-.

Probably the worst professor I've had at CSUSB so far (and I'm a senior). He's very rude and when you try and ask a question he makes you feel stupid. I'm repeatedly a Dean's List student and I recieved a B in this class because of his vague instructions and confusing links. Take someone else.
