This guy is basically a legend in the field. I am honored to simply be in his presence. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his classes and gives great feedback. But he does have high expectations for your work, so you better bring your A game. This course has basically changed my whole perspective as a photographer. I learned a LOT.

Seriously changed my photography 100 fold. He was always interested in what I was shooting and pushed me to excel. He continues to be involved in my photography career to this day.

excellent prof. really learned a lot about lighting but also learned how much more there is to learn. One of the best classes I've ever taken. Prof is available and approachable. Really neat guy.

Comment:

Great teacher. You'll learn a lot but only if your serious about photo. Ardon seems to really care about his students. Known to stay after class and help students who are lagging. There's no wondering why he's head of the photo department. Seems like he'd be a real cool guy to have a drink with, but I think I'd feel unworthy of chilling with him.

I was frustrated by his attention to detail but a few years after taking his class I realize just how much I learned in his class. Not easy by any means, but certainly a teacher that will improve your photography tenfold. Don't take if you aren't serious about learning how to perfect your skills.
