Great Teacher. Comes across a little boring at times, but the subject matter itself is kinda boring so you can't really put that all on him. Super nice guy, very generous with the A's and A+'s , and is more than willing to help you hen you need it. This guy knows just about everything there is to know about electricity and it shows. Great proffesor

Elmano is a great teacher. I am in the middle of the electrical program and all I can say is that Chaffey is blessed and the students are blessed as well to have such a great teacher running the electrical program. He is super knowledgeable, super helpful, and you can tell that he loves what he does. He really runs a great program.

Had this teacher for 3 straight semesters, he is an AWSOME teacher, does not let any of his students fall behind and spends as much time as needed with anyone of his students to make sure they understand the material, best teacher ive ever had hand down! He preped me for my career very well!

This professor makes learning fun. A slight accent, but very understandable and fun to listen to. You will learn from Mr. Alves, who is very knowledgeable in his field. Recommend him without any reservation.
