I took Gart's summer school class and I had a blast in it. I hadn't taken Spanish in a long time and it was refreshing to have a teacher review the basics before diving into the intermediate stuff. Her hw is fair, her test are a bit difficult, her grading is fair. She is just a very awesome teacher. Take her if you want to enjoy learning Spanish.

Gart was a very good instructor. Take her class if you are able to; she is a jem. Homework is not too hard. She assigns something every class and so keeping up is a must. Tests are fair and not impossible. If you are nervous about Spanish, you need not be with her.

I don't know what teacher you all had, but this woman is crazy hard. No take home nothing and if you get one letter wrong on a quiz or test you get 0 credit. Lots and Lots of homework. I don't know if this woman changes to super hard for summer or what, but def not what other people saying she is now.
