Dr. Abdallah gives insightful and interesting lectures. He gives pop quizzes, so make sure you attend the lectures and are up to date on the material. His tests are like the homework and in class examples, so study them! He is very understanding and wants to see everyone succeed. Would highly recommend.

Comment:

Abdallah is an amazing lecturer. He gives pop quizzes, so it's important to attend class regularly. His tests are difficult, but he curves the test if the average is below 75%. He is very caring, and gives 3 hour review sessions on Saturdays before the exams. He is also easy to contact, and responds at all hours of the night.

Comment:

Great proffesor but you really have to work for youre grade. He has good lectures and is VERY caring (has 3hr tests reviews Saturdays before exams) but he says he designs his tests to be very difficult but will always curve so the average is a 75%. Take him but be ready to work. Very rewarding in the end and youll learn a lot!

Without any hesitation take him for Statics. He explains it in a very clear way. Very demanding but it's worth it as you'll learn a lot. Very good in relating the theory to real life examples. Attend class and you won't need to use the book. Put the effort in solving the HW and you should be OK.

He is indeed one of the best at UCF. If you have a chance to take his class then don't hesitate as you will really learn. Very organized and will cover all details in a very clear way. Exams tricky but he generously curves. Just attend class and pay attention to his tips and you'll be OK. A lot of work but it's worth it!

Had him for statics several semesters ago. All around excellent professor. Extensive solved examples covered in class. He is very helpful and will not mind repeating anything if you ask him. The Saturday review sessions before exams is a must go. I enjoyed every minute of Dr. Abdallah's class and I wish that he taught other courses.

Hands down the best professor I had at UCF. He knows his subject very well & explains everything very clearly. Very professional & organized. Very respectful to the students & will go out of his way to help with review sessions. Excellent in providing help through email. Don't hesitate to ask him questions in class. I wish he teach other subjects

Not an easy course & too much material covered but he explains it very well. If you are interested in understanding Statics then he is the man! He?ll make you work hard but it is worth it. Do homework & pay attention to what he says in class & you?ll be fine. Don't hesitate to ask questions, he is always helpful & doesn't mind to re-explain. Enjoy!

Exams are tough but he compensates for it with very generous curving. Dr. Abdallah is one of the most caring professors I've ever had. He inspires students with his "nothing is difficult" statement. Doesn't have office hours but he replies to every email & will stay after class. His Saturday review sessions are great. Wish we had more of him at UCF

He is a good professor, but definitely not easy. You will have to study a lot. There are two tests and a final that make up 80% of your grade. There are two pop quizes and then homework is 10%. The multiple choice portion of the test is a pain, seeing as all of the homework consists of aplication problems only.

Anyone who said Abdallah is easy lied. He is EXTREMELY hard. I made a B only because I was studying 15 hours a week. His tests are almost impossible. However, he does curve and is very helpful over email... just don't talk in class.

Amazing teacher! Can hear ANYONE talking no matter how far away you are. And he will even call you out if you keep talking. Makes his test somewhat hard but if you take it slow you will get a 100 on them. Curves tests so that the class average is 75%. PICK THIS GUY ALREADY!

Comment:

One of the best professors I've ever had. He's a stickler for no talking in class (and hears really well), but regardless he presents everything in a crystal clear manner. Curves in big ways. As long as you go along with the book, do the homework and put in the effort, you should get an A in the class, easy. If you don't get one, it's your fault.

Amazing professor. First test is a wake up call with very tricky multiple choice ?s but he curves every test, every quiz, the final, and raises your grade at the end. You really learn a lot in this class though, he's extremely helpful and has review sessions before each test. Don't take statics w/anyone else.

Does not prepare you for his tests. A lot of multiple choice conceptual questions that he makes extremely tricky on purpose and one free response question. Two pop quizzes worth 10% of your total grade. Homework takes a long time and only counts as 10%. He curves his tests and quizzez.

Diff class with the best prof I have had. When other classes have a 2d problem, yours will be 3d. You will cover ALL material by the final and more thoroughly than other classes. Will tag on extra class time if needed. Responds to emails up til 4am to help you, very clear examples, and reviews. Failure to get a good grade is entirely your fault.
