Comment:
Easy class, but her methods of communication with students are awful. Never replies to emails or is in office during office hours. Accidently lowered everyone's grade by half a letter grade and didn't care about fixing it and didn't reply to students. relied on TA but TA was awful.

Dr. McCauley is a great person. However, she always seems very distracted and busy with many things at once. This class involved weekly labs and a group project, so choose your group members wisely or else you'll be doing all the work. The tests were crazy easy since they were open book and the questions were straight from the text and powerpoints.

Didn't learn much about industrial engineering, but did get an A. Entertaining professor, but she spends more time talking about her opinions on life than on the course subject.

Very funny and likable as a person, but a little frustrating as a professor. Moves very quickly through slides and is a bit disorganized. Ask lots of questions and she is helpful in clarifying concepts. Tests are long and tedious- not very conceptual, but lots of plug and chug. Know how to do the processes quickly to finish.

Nice lady, terrible professor. lectures virtually useless. Must print out slides b/c she goes thru them crazy fast without explanation. too lazy to work out examples by hand and actually TEACH. TA's help a lot, but not enough in this unorganized class. not recommended

Great person, but the worst professor I have ever had. She prides herself on being able to blaze through 100 slides an hour, and really doesn't teach anything. Hopefully you get a good TA. The class is horribly disorganized with a huge disconnect between the teacher and the TA's. Tests are VERY long, definitely too long for the allotted time

Like her as a person but lectures become dry at times sometimes unbearable. Tests are alright. The powerpoint slides go way too fast and most of the time everyone walks out pretty much knowing nothing new. T.A. Asli is helpful and her accent is so cute. Quizzes are fair but it takes a while to get grades back and nothing is ever returned to us.

Dr Bush is really entertaining in class, and very easy on students. She is incredibly down-to-earth, and cares about her students. She can be disorganized however, and the book sucks. Pay attention to Dr Bush and go to her office hours. Our TA Hani is awesome and clear during discussion. Don't know about Asli, but she's gorgeous though <3

She's OK. I don't think her lectures are particularly thrilling or anything but her tests are easy just extremely long. If you just do the homework I guarentee you are well prepared for the marathon you are facing come exam time. she's cool and friendly and down to earth. She definately reminds me of Queen Latifah, just much smarter.

Dr. Bell/Bush is like a crazy Michelle Obama. She has a really cute mole on her lip and has a funny personality, but don't teach too well. TA Asli is beautiful, which is motivation to go to problem sessions. Pop quizzes are annoying.

Took as a FEEDS course. Big mistake. Had problems contacting professor and TA's. Professor had problems with the FEEDS recorder (sometimes would miss half the class or would make announcements before class and FEEDS students were SOL). Kept getting misinformation. Class was an unnecessary headache.

Class would have been tolerable if there was SOME sense of organization. Teacher and TAs never knew what the other was doing and frequently sent students to the other back and forth. TA (Meza) wasn't knowledgeable enough to be in her position. Attitudinal and often incorrect. Overall, this class was a royal headache that wasn't necessary.

Appears interesting at first, but becomes annoying very quickly. Will beat you if you sleep or do anything else. Humorously answers cellphones and tries to embarrass students. Gives random quizzes and says important info for answering test questions "her way", so attendance and attention are necessary. Reads too many slides way too fast. Long test

We called Papa John's during her lecture and they tried to charge her for a pizza she didn't order. Epic lulz ensued. First two tests take 2 hrs, final exam takes 3. Lab is where most of learning is done, if you have Katherine. Asli wasn't very helpful. But she was sexy. Take McCauley-Bell over Riley. SO much easier. Book is required for quizzes.

Exams are a marathon, easy but long. Its plug and chug with formulas. But oh so long. Lectures suck I took a few naps. I would take the class again, if I could get the hot TA. She likes to give us non-material related lectures which were fun ex. ethics, joining clubs, why not to smoke. She is also pretty funny.

Lectures are pointless to go to but she will give pop quizes sometimes. Problem sessions are worth going to and are really helpful. Stats is a boring subject and she at least trys to make the class fun and has alot of energy. Test are open book but very tricky.

Lectures are pointless, she reads slides word for word. I strongly recommend going to all discussions, they are the only reason I passed the class because book along with the lectures suck. Tests are open book open note, but can be tricky, so study for them like they werent open book open note. Go to discussions, and you will pass.
