Comment:

Confusing and useless, but harmless and easy. Just grin and bear it. I had a classmate turn in a rap song for, yes, an illustration, and he was all about it. Does not understand pop culture refs past '77. On the bright side, you get a long break and let out of class early. Unfortunately my class had no TA to decipher his strange ramblings.

Make sure all of your assignments incorporate Star Wars if not any form of mythology, he will think highly of you. Once started class by spending half an hour lecturing students about his personal fishing trip; a few could barely keep themselves awake. He's a nice guy, means well, just not very helpful.

Bill Hall means well, but he really doesn't know anything about illustration. He doesn't know any illustrators, doesn't know about current illustration. With that said, he does have some nice suggestions. His advertisement speech is obnoxious. Nice guy ... but sort of a lame class.

this class sucked. he was totally unhelpful and gave no direction with anything. its an easy class, but too business savy and dull. take something else where your creativity will be utilized, it will serve u better later

Bill is a very nice guy, and a good teacher to work with. He does not cram assignments down your throat; he is flexible about his given assignments. Could have been harder, but all in all a good class.

illustration 2 with bill was exactly what i was looking for from this department. he knows what he's talking about and talks intelligently about the current illustration market. if you're sick of flighty teachers get into bill's class!
