I have been avoiding art classes because I don't excel at it and it has nothing to do with my major. Unfortunately I had to take an art and I absolutely regret taking this class. He does not care about you if you aren't one of his precious art majors and he expects too much. I tried my hardest and he graded way too tough for non-art majors.

Back in the day, Carl led us to be thinkers. Grades may stick on a report card but have little to do with real life. I learned additive and subtractive sculpture techniques from Carl. Now, THAT pertains to my real life! What do I choose to add or delete to my life? Thank you Carl, for a job well done. Your keen eye and strong opinions improved me!

Rattner is great, absolutely great. Sure he may be a hard grader but that's really an advantage. The rest of you who bashed him are lazy philistines. I really don't see the favoritism, you just probably got on his bad side. Sure he may be unclear sometimes but that's why he says to ask him if you do have any questions.
