He grades all HWs with same grade, clearly he doesn't even bother reading them. The class is extremely boring, he talks all time about pointless subjects. He does NOT teach anything, you have to learn by yourself. He is very rude, so don't bother asking questions, he wont answer. He likes to make jokes of students in class, no ethics soever.

He is a tough grader the class drags listening to his annoying voice talk the whole time and it's a lot of pointless reading homework. He can be a real "smart alec" too. and he's the type to think he is better than everyone else. Not recommended. He isn't there to help you pass.

He was an awesome professor. I took a night class with him. Lots of reading, but you're given everything on the syllabus ahead of time. The grading criteria is very clear and he gives you a chance to make up everything. If you put the effort into this class you're almost guaranteed an A.

He's hilarious. He breaks everything down so you get it. There's the option for everyone to re-write every paper (there's only 3). Over all he's good at what he does, its pretty understandable. He isn't unrealistic, show up and you pass. The book is a work book so you kinda really need it.

I took David Vilandre's English 101 and 102 Class. That was 5 years ago, maybe more. Now that I am back in school in a different state I compare every professor to him. He is the epitome of a great professor. My life has taken me many places but I will never forget the impact he had on me. He probably doesn't know it but he has. Amazing person.

He taught me to write. He taught me to read. He taught me to think. I thought I knew all this years ago from high school. He showed me a fresh way to do this. He cares about his students and he listens and he makes you feel important, everyone in the class is treated equally. Thanks professor.

I agree that his grading is hard but he gives you a chance to rewrite all the essays and will tell you what you did wrong so that you can bring the grad up. Unexpectedly became my favorite class! Professor keeps students interested and engaged. He is humorous, witty and entertaining!Explains everything thoroughly and offers examples. Attendance policy is strict, but fair considering the number of classes during the course. Workload is reasonable and expected for college level. Highly recommend! A+
