Overall I got an A. I studied the book myself and took notes. He's an alright professor, not great. When you ask him questions he acts like you're bothering him, but he's just very intense and passionate. He makes jokes and tries very hard to connect with you in class. He's just an overall emotional guy. He looks strict but he's kinda a nut.

The best professor at the west campus. He was treated unfairly by the dean & provost. They got rid of him because they did not like him. Valencia community college does not care about the students. If you read his evaluations they are the best & the most at Valencia.

He thinks the world of himself, he loves to share his opinions over and over again. If you are a sensitive democrat do not take his class. He knows a lot about accounting and talks fast and doesn't make a lot of sense. Open book tests and only 2 homework assignments are the only reason I will probably pass.

If you have the book, you will pass the class. He goes over every question on test and quiz. He also uses those problems on the final exam. Attend every class because if you dont, you will feel lost the next class. He talks off subject a lot! So be ready to sit there while he talks about things that dont go with accounting.

He knows a lot about the subject, which is great! BUT, only if he would stick more to accounting and less of 'spreading' his opinions. It was horrible this semester having to listen to all of his opinions on why people should vote republican, and bashing on other candidates. Bottom line is who cares! This is accounting and he should stick to it!

Its not that he is bad at teaching accounting, but every class he tells the same stories and makes the same comments, so its easy to lose interest. It would be better if he just taught the subject, because accountings not that bad but listening to him ramble about the same stuff is.He is willing to help but seems condisending, claims hes passionate

Mr. Colon was a great teacher. He used real life situations and everyone told me act. would be hard and he made it an interesting, easy class. I got an f on the first test and a d on the 1st quiz and with attendance and the final i passed with an A. Def. Recommend taking him!!
